This is the only one that I have seen where the Grip is also the same color as the Barrel.
To me I think that is a feature that Pilot should incorporate on all there Dr. Grip pens.
I think it really makes the pen stand out and get noticed.

In my other two reviews of the Blue and Magenta pens I think I forgot to mention the ease of use of the pencil.
The pencil also has an eraser that is easily accessed by removing the small cap at the end of the pen(cil).
What a great pen and design.

If this came with refills then it would be perfect....
Oh another thing, the shipping on the PINK is a tad longer than the other colors but it will get to your house.
Also another thing not mentioned is that there are no directions in English, but who cares, after all it is just a pen.

I bought this because I really like the Pilot Dr Grip pen and need a multi-color pen for work. The pens don't roll as smooth, and are a little more narrow than 0.7 mm, more like they are all 0.5 mm, and the ink isn't as smooth as the Pilot Dr Grip. Also it took me a few seconds to figure out how to advance the pencil part, press down on the pocket clip. Not sure it was worth it over the cheap Bic multi-color pen with the rollerball but it looks a lot nicer at meetings, clients even ask about it.

Why can't pen companies bring the cool stuff stateside?
This is an awesome pen. It's lightweight, nicely balanced, writes smoothly and is comfortable to hold even for prolonged use.
The only fidgety thing about it is the pencil which can sometimes pop back when you're trying to deploy it but even with that nitpick I'll give it 5 stars.
Oh and the Dr Grip refills in your local office store will fit! I mean, take one out and match it up (since there's like 50 kinds) of course but you'll be good if you run out of black or blue in a pinch!

This multi function pen is hands down one of my favorite pencil/pens. I love this 4+1!!! I use it everyday in my classroom. It writes smoothly with nice fine lines and has a just-right feel to it with the comfort grip. It has a substantial sturdy feeling but not too weighty. I am not normally a fan of multi pens but this one hits the bulls-eye for holding and writing with ease and comfort! It's versatility works great for going from note taking to making corrections with ease! I like having a great pen in a stylish color. I get compliments on this pen every time somebody borrows it.

These pens are so awesome and high quality. I bought one initially for school and it followed me for an entire year. I ended up buying two more so that I can keep one in my backpack at all times. They're extremely sturdy and write so smoothly. I like to color-code my notes and this replaced the four other pens and pencil in my backpack. It's cheap to get refills when they run out, too. It also has a good weight to it because some pens I try out just feel too light and flimsy.
