The thing that makes this stand out from most power banks, is that the microUSB cable is built into the unit itself. I like the clean white and lime green combination design. The unit itself is less than 5" long and under 3" wide, allowing me to carry it in my front or back pocket easily. Being that it can output up to 2.1A, I can use it to give a boost to an iPad or other device that's capable of charging at a higher amperage.

**What real world results can I expect to get for my devices using this Battery? Well, consider the following:
➊ My iPhone 5S battery has a 1560mAh capacity.
➋ My Samsung Galaxy S4 battery has a 2600mAh capacity.

So Now...if I consider the fact, that it's standard to expect a "USABLE" 70% of the ACTUAL capacity (due to heat loss, etc), then this 6800mAh external battery can safely be figured to have a useable capacity of around 4760mAh.

**This means I can expect to get the following before recharging this power bank:
➊ iPhone 5s: approximately 3 full charges
➋ Samsung Galaxy S4: approximately 2 full charges

Overall, I like the design, the built-in microUSB charging cable and it's portable size. I haven't come across any negatives yet, so stay tuned for any updates I may add at a later date if issues arise.

I received a sample product for test and evaluation.

Best I have found, What I really love about this is that the cable is incorporated into the design so that it is always there when you need it. It is very small (but not tiny) and has enough juice to pretty much fully charge your phone from scratch. It charges up quickly and charges your phone quickly, too. Highly recommended.

This is perfect for someone who neglects to keep a phone or Kindle charged.

I paid a premium to get a green-themed battery for my sweetie, who clings to flip-phone habits like charging once a week. Now when her smart phone or Kindle runs down, she plugs it into this and throws the bundle into her purse.

This charges her Galaxy S4 Mini and Kindle Fire with juice to spare. It's compact and nicely designed.

I was provided an Avantree 6800mAh 2.1A Power Bank for testing and review and was asked only to give my honest review, so this is what I found.

What You Should Know Before You Buy:
♦ Nice look and design with an integrated Micro USB cable that charges the Power Bank or a Device.
♦ Has a single 2.1 Amp charging port.
♦ Great capacity. Charged up my iPhone 5 with plenty of battery to spare for multiple charges.
♦ Excellent charging speeds as compared to competing power banks for my iPhone 5.
♦ Also worked well with my iPad 2, but does not have the capacity to charge it fully, which it isn't supposed to.
♦ You still need a charging cable for an Apple device, but the integrated Micro USB cable would make this an optimal power bank for an Android device with a Micro USB charging port.

Detailed Review:
♦ Look - The product came in a professional looking hanging box with nice pictures and product information on the outside of it. Inside the box was the power bank encased in a plastic insert for protection, a Micro USB charging cable that was wrapped around the body of the power bank and an instruction manual. It is an average size power bank for the 6800mAh capacity and has a nice white color with green accents. It has a single power button and four green LEDs that indicate remaining charge. The way that the Micro USB charging cable wraps around the case is very clever and really makes the power bank convenient for portability. It has a very nice design and looks to have a nice build quality.

♦ Use and Performance - It came with some charge to it so I plugged it a wall charger and charged it until it was full. After it was full I did some testing. I took my iPhone 5 which had 22% charge remaining and plugged it into the charging port.Read more ›

Great power on this, but the design has flaws. Using with a Samsung Galaxy S5 and the shape of the connector into the phone makes it a tough fit. Actually broke the charge cover off once. Also, the slot to store the lightning adapter is not deep enough. I have multiple adapters and they will not fit into this slot. Wasted.

The design theme for this one is "Easy-to-See Brick" ... LOL - But I dig it, I definitely do.

It puts out a better amperage draw to my Android tablet than a dedicated USB Wall Hub (in fact, one of the best USB Wall Hubs I have used, and this still tops it by 0.05A), and as I show at the very end of my video, I was drawing an outstanding 1.88A while charging the battery itself. The input port is rated at 2.0A, so if you have a high efficiency cord, you will get a fast charging battery, both input AND output.

Also quite excellent is that both the integrated cord and output USB port are rated at 2.1A and 2.4A respectively, so an excellent choice for Apple users too.

So if you decide you dig the hardcore, unrepentant "Look At Me!" design of this portable battery, you will have an outstanding workhorse "force".
