    Very nice and warm. its still in the 80s here in southern California and we are currently in a crippling drought so i haven't gotten a chance to test it out in the rain, i really hope i get a chance soon we really need the rain here. The large tall fits me nicely i am 6 foot 4 220 lbs. i wish the hood was bigger but other than that its a very good fit. the inside of this hoodie is very soft, it feels really nice against the skin. i bought this hoodie to wear to work and i am sure it will last a long time. I will update this review when it finally rains here in California ( HOPEFULLY SOON)

    My husband loves this sweatshirt. It is very heavy and water resistant. He works outside in very cold winter weather and often does not need a jacket with this sweatshirt. He says it is very warm and easy to move around in. I bought another one after he wore the first one for a few weeks. XL-T can be hard to find, but they had it here!

    Bought for my son. Its very nice seems to be water resistant. Nice substantial heavy fabric. He reports desireable fit in the tall size as it is a longer shirt extending down below hips further preventing showing of skin when arms are raise or he bends over. All in all a very nice seatshirt. will definitely buy again

    I bought it for my husband—which works outside most days. The fit is a bit too large, but I bought it that way intentionally, so that he could wear many layers of cloths underneath the hoodie. There was no need. The 13oz hoodie keeps him toasty, and by toasty—I mean sweating; while working outside, in the North Eastern winter weather. Until it hits sub-zero's, he's not going to need to pull out this jacket. I'll be ordering him another Carhartt Hoodie around Christmas, and ensuring I get one a little lower than 13 ounce. But, I will never again waste money on any other type of jacket.

    make sure when ordering that you are ordering the HW version of the carhartt sweatshirt, other weights are OK for mild weather but when it gets cold this is the one you want. The fit is just a tad on the large side but nothing outrageous. I have made the switch, nothing but carhartt sweatshirts in my closet now. This spring I will switch out all my t-shirts to be carhart as well.

    I'm 6' 4", shopping in traditional brick and mortar stores is frustrating, shopping on Amazon not so much. While the price of this item wasn't any different from the big box store the ability to find the size I needed was. This Carhartt hooded sweatshirt size XLT is roomy and good for layering, I generally don't workoutside in the rain but when the time comes I'm glad that this item has the Rain Defender built in.

    I've worn this hoodie for about 3 days now and I'm very impressed ..when I first got it I was coming back from school and I was in a rush to get going on a skI trip I walked up to my side door picked up the package which was kinda heavy I opened it I saw the hoodie put it on thought it was to big but tried it on and it fit I got the large/tall I'm 6ft 180pounds and it fit just great I don't like my hoodies without a little room in them and mine had the room that I was looking for ..in the hoodie kangaroo pouch there was the lining like the inside of the hoodie has ita also roomy so you can put gloves and other things like your phone keys anything really on the right side of the pouch there's another smaller puch that you can put your phone or your wallet it won't fit every smart phone but mine fits tighter than expected I have a galaxy s5 with a case on it on the outside of the hoodie it feels rugged with triple stiching on some spots which is good for durability ...the hood is somewhat smaller but your head will fit fine its not meant to be worn with a hardhat if your in construction but you can wear it with beats headphones and it will be covered just fine ..but after I checked out the hoodie I left to go snowboarding and check out the waterproofing it has and it was excellent I was very warm inside couldn't feel a starch of the cold I just felt like I was sitting by a campfire it really kept me warm and the snow could not get in at all it slid right off even some snowpuddle that were melting couldn't get into it I'm overall very impressed with the hoodie and I'd purchase a second one in the future carrharts hoodie is very impressive and durable with added features that help out
