If your Vizio remote to your soundbar stops working for absolutely no reason.....unplug soundbar for 10 seconds then plug back in!! Voila, remote will mysteriously work again, lol! I almost bought a new remote, thinking mine was broke since replacing batteries didn't fix it. Then I read the questions on this product and surprisingly many people had the same issue. I hope this is helpful to anyone with the same type of problem. I hope to save you a few bucks!

Our puppy literally ate our original remote. I wasn't so sure about this one working too well with our sound bar but figured I would give it a try. Sure enough, this one is perfect! It works just as if it came with the original packaging. Just follow the instructions on how to set up the remote it works perfectly. I made sure it was the correct model for the sound bar as some of the pictures from amazon sellers all look the same but it's different model. This one gets put up along with everything else.

Worked perfect! I was house sitting my buddies puppy when he went home and she decided this would make a great chew toy. It was awesome to see that I could get a remote quick and relatively cheap at $15. All I had to do was install the batteries to the remote, unplug the speaker, plug it back it and power it up, from there it was set and ready to go. It couldn't have gone easier pairing this to my speaker.

Horrible, VIZIO get it together! The one that came with my soundbar stopped working so I bought this one here. Same exact one that comes with the soundbar. Worked for a few weeks and stopped working just the same. Why even build crap that's going to break or stop working like this?

Works as a backup remote now. Apparently there is a bug with the speaker that causes the remote not to work. Before buying another remote, turn off and unplug the speaker for 30 seconds, plug everything back in and it should work.

The product arrived in a timely manner, earlier than expected. The product is as pictured and worked without issue with my Vizio 2.1 soundbar. The product is a genuine Vizio remote. After inserting 2 AAA batteries the remote worked without issue and all functions/buttons worked without issue. I tried contacting Vizio via phone and website to obtain this remote with no success. Should you need a remote I highly recommend obtaining one from this seller.

Did not come with AAA batteries. Other than that, the remote works just as it should. It sends the inferred right to the sound-bar and subwoofer with no problems at all. No programming needed (if you already have the sound-bar). Just what i needed after the original remote that came with it was destroyed in a horrific accident involving a flame thrower and some nitroglycerin...oops.
