Excellent fit and finish, allows for slight angle to give smoother cable routing

Pretty simple item, we use these to route cables between patch panels and switches, which they do well. The oblong slots allow you to put a 10 degree or so angle to the bracket, offering a more smooth curve of cables. The finish quality is excellent, not sharp, paint is well adhered, they have a very good fit and finish. If I needed more in the future, I'd buy these.

It's nice to have the mounting holes in two planes so ...

I have one of these at the back of my FX rack as a sort of a conduit to keep cables out of the way. It's nice to have the mounting holes in two planes so you can orient it whichever way you want. The bracket can be bent with a bit of force and won't take a lot of abuse. It's bigger than it looks, the rectangular shaped bracket area is about the size of a slice of bread so will fit many cables inside (a few at a time, they won't all fit through the opening at once). Pricey for what it is but I've found it useful.

Delivers on build and function

I purchased these to go at the top of each side of the back of my full size server racks. One at the (nearly) top left and one at the (nearly) top right. Even though some reviewers believe it is over priced for what it is, I can say that:

Pros:
Substantial Material
Designed well in that it offers multiple mounting configurations
Provides the expected result

Cons:
Perhaps they are a tad overpriced

However, the other vertical cable management options for server racks that I've considered are significantly more expensive.
I liked the results of having these manage the power and network cables that I've purchased 2 more for another cabinet I'm building out soon.

Best hook style cable management

This vertical cable management is great for the sheer amount of cables it can hold. I managed to hold 96 cat 5e cables within the hooks with plenty of room to spare. It may not look as good as the cable management with the fingers but it is a fraction of the cost and it fits my rack better. My only gripe is it does not come with mounting hardware for the older screw racks and the cost. It only comes with cage nuts. It is almost double the price of other vertical hooks.

Beware StarTech's own product information!!!

Beware, these are not 1U loops as described on the StarTech.com site (http://www.startech.com/Server-Management/Racks/Multi-Direction-Rack-Cable-Management-D-Ring~CMHOOKMW) . They are 1.5U, so if you intend to try a 0U install (covering ears of other equipment), you can't because a mounting hole will be covered/inaccessible and you will end up mounting across two pieces of 1U equipment.

Great idea, poor design. Really BiG

These hooks are really big. I bought them for a Tripp Lite 4 post, rolling rack (SR4POST25). It came with its own plastic hooks. But I wanted something that was more sturdy for cable management. Well, these are definitely very sturdy and have a high capacity. The problem is that these hooks are so big that you can't really place anything else near them. Also, the placement of the holes are very odd. Given the holes, you should have various mounting options. Unfortunately, you just have one. I'm not taking more stars away because the units are exactly as described in the page. But I can't give any more stars because of the poor design.
