This is a fantastic soap. Gets you clean, leaves no film, residue, sticky or squeaky feeling and is not oily or greasy. It rinses clean buts leaves your skin soft and silky -- not waxy or balmy. Like clean skin should feel. Lovely. And I am PICKY about my soap.
It melts super-easy in the microwave for making your own soap to mix with essential oils (a minute and a half at 1000 watts will nearly liquefy one pound) and sets in silicone molds like a dream. Comes out cleanly with no fuss. (I leave mine on the kitchen counters overnight, so I don't know how long the setting time is.) Once the bars have cooled, the fragrance of the essential oils really stays within the soap. I let the bars cure (read: harden a little) for two weeks so they last longer -- the soap is soft enough to cut easily with a passably sharp knife right out of the bag, so the curing time is essential to the life of the bar. If you can melt butter in a measuring cup, stir it around a little and then pour it into a smaller container, you can use this to make soap (or conditioning shampoo!) at home. RIDICULOUSLY easy.
I'm giving it four stars instead of five because once the base is heated it's a little "goaty" smelling. Not so much to keep me from buying it or using it in my hair and all over everywhere else as a cleanser, but enough that it's noticeable. All goat's milk products I've ever used have this issue as well. No one's fault but the goat's. If they ate a little more young grass the day they were milked, you'll get a more pungent soap out of their contribution. It's a NATURAL product that varies, naturally. But some people might find this irritating.

This goats milk soap is lovely. It is unscented so you can add whatever essential oil scents you like. It melted beautifully, heating at 30 second intervals in the microwave. If you want to add exfoliants, you need to let it sit for awhile so that whatever you are adding won't sink to the bottom. I added oatmeal to mine. The waiting allows the soap to thicken, and able to suspend the additional ingredients.

This is the first time I have used this particular vender. I ordered the 2lb. organic glycerine soap base Goat's Milk. I received one huge piece (a mound) of soap base and a small sliver piece. No problem there... it all melts the same after you cut the pieces up. However, once I un-molded my soaps there were small black imperfections (grit) noticeable in my finished product. I remelted and the same thing happened. I have made soaps for years and have never had this happen before. Totally disappointed and frustrated to have wasted a number of hours scraping out these black pieces of grit and remelting to try and get a nice finished product. I couldn't do it and I have thrown away this whole bag. I won't buy this product again.

Sweats a little. Suds up gently but doesn't leave you dry. Solidified pretty quick, like 10 mins in the fridge. I'll be rebuying if I don't find larger quantities for a better price.

I purchased this to make some soap and this stuff is great. I love how it lathers up and feels clean when done washing. I have used all of this up and need to order more. I have given some away and the people love this also . I like to make stuff and give some away to get more input as to how it does on other types of skin. I have very dry skin and it does make my skin feel good after I have used this. I would say this is great to use to make soap and like that I can put in any fragrance that I want. I made some with a bit to much scent and use them for smelling up a room. It does make the room smell good. I was trying to do a few things at once and thought that the bottle of oil was to be shaken to get the oil out and it did not have that and put in about 1/4 of a bottle in and holy cow did it smell good but not to use for washing. I put that in one of the bathrooms and it smells just nice.

Methylisothiazolinone is a biocide, very toxic to fish, and 500 times more poisonous than Methyl Methacrylate.

Methylisothiazolinone should not be used on skin. These facts are in its' Material Safety Data Sheet and the NIH chart for chemicals toxic exposure.

You misspelled yours by 3 letters, but it's the same as Methylisothiazolinone.

So I got this soap in the mail the same day my fiance broke out in an all over rash from the soap he was using. Have him a slice of this stuff straight ooutwthe bag and it has done wonders for his skin!

I love the way this soap feels. It's so soft. I haven't even done the whole melt and pour part. I've just been using it as is. It just feels so good. It's been really good to my face.

I'll update after I melt, add stuff, and use it again.
