I have used this product for over a year now and am thrilled it is finally available on Amazon.com
Being a recreational runner in my Fifties, I'm always looking for a little help to keep my average pace around 7.10 min/mile on a good day (5 mile run). The first time I used nrgMatrix, I ran a 6:30/min average and after 5 miles, capable of going further, as the pain of the push was bearable and the recovery quick and complete. From then on I have been using this product daily and have since shattered my 3 and 5 mile record times set when I was 25. I mix it with 20oz of water and a dash of apple cider vinegar to give it a tart edge.
So as a sports drink, this product works.
Now to the side effects, shortly after I started using nrgMatrix I noticed that my energy level did not dip around 8 or 9pm and my ability to focus, usually fading by then, was still good enough to continue working effectively way into the night . After a night out on the town, ordinarily the next day I would be a little sluggish and suffer a slight headache. I discovered, when taking nrg around 6pm and then again first thing the next morning, that the sufferings of a hangover were much less severe. Other side effects include: fewer colds, general feeling of well being, absence of jitters and energy crashes, stronger hair and nails and so on. Please note that It only dissolves well, when put into a bottle and shaken hard, or when using a blender. Needless to say, I recommend this product.

My skin has a super high turn over rate and my hair grows faster than ever...it's a bit expensive but I just use a bit once a day...if you overdo it it's going to get flushed down the toilet.. just start small and add until you see results...it takes about a week to notice anything

My daughter (age 18) swears by this stuff! She states that she can "totally tell the difference" when she uses it, that she feels more energetic.
(I also use it, but I can't really tell the difference, I just don't like the taste of plain water, so I use this for flavor!) I add one scoop to 32 oz of water (I know that's not what the label says, but, once again, I'm using it more to flavor my water so I feel inspired to drink enough and not get dehydrated), and I sweeten-to-taste with organic stevia.
If you follow the directions "Pour 2 level scoops into 12-16 oz of water", well, the flavor is just too overwhelming for me, and it leaves some "grit" at the bottom (I like my recipe better, lol!) (We use enough of it that we have one container/month on auto-delivery!
BTW, my daughter learned about this product through a friend, who gives it to her horse (NRG has a similar product specifically for horses) Her friend is convinced that her horse is more energetic and also increased muscle mass since she started using it in his feed). (Maybe more energy = more exercise = more muscle?)

I'm not a big believer in using supplements to boost my workouts, but I got a free sample of this and so I gave it a try. After my lifting workout I realized I had set three new personal records. Naturally a skeptic I thought I was just having a good day. I ended up purchasing more of this at New Seasons and took it again before a workout. Again I set more personal records. I'm not saying I'm a full fledged believer quite yet, but I do feel like I have more energy during my workouts. If anything changes, I'll edit my review. For now I've signed up for the subscribe and save program through Amazon. I'm hoping it continues to pay dividends.

Like others have posted, this tastes awful. I normally mix it in a blender bottle and it doesn't taste so grainy, but it does have a cringing taste. Drinking it quickly helps. :)

This product really works. Just make sure you don't take more than is suggested, or you'll want to stay up all night. It really makes you feel good. You have to try it out for yourself, as everyone's physical make up is different, but I recommend it for an energy pickup.

I am competitive athlete and I purchased this item to improve endurance and immune function. The issue with this item is that every time I take it, I become lethargic and sleepy. Therefore I am unable to utilize it during the day and the amount of vitamin d in the product prohibits be from using at night. I had high hopes for this product but had to toss it out. Maybe I will try their cordyceps by itself.
