These are not the smoothest tuners in the world. They feel kind of like there's no lubrication of any kind inside. (well, there probably isn't) But... they look good and work fine. I have used them on about 4 guitar build now and I'll keep buying them. I don't expect them to last 50 years or anything, but for the money they're pretty hard to beat.

I used a set of these in a fix-up project guitar that I plan to sell. The heads are small and they have a bit of a plastic feel, but they turn smoothly and they stay in tune so they will work. For a guitar I plan to keep, I would probably spend a little more and get a higher quality.

Does the job for the price.....what do you want for nothing...... your money back? lol For what your paying for these if your expecting them to be same as Grover.....you need to get help. But for the price they work exceptionally well. No issues at all.

The shaft is too thick to fit through the holes on my Ibanez RG neck. Otherwise, they seem very solid and durable. Unfortunately I have to return them.

Update: I took my chances and bored the holes bigger with a drill bit, now they fit great. Was a scary attempt, but it worked out. I wouldn't have done that on a nicer or expensive neck, however.

Excellent value but poor performance. The tuning stability isn't the greatest and seems to have some play between the gears. They look great though and do their job well enough but I would have liked better tuning stability. Would be great for a guitar with a locking tremolo.
