These are very sturdy heavy duty brackets, which surprised me. We used them to support a 60x10" shelf that was supported already at both ends. These more than did the job and they are aesthetic too. Good price.

I had two issues. The first was that half of the top support on the brackets were bent (see photo). Although I didn't see any damaged to the packaging, it may have happened during shipping (?). The main issue I had with the brackets was with the design. I had to use longer screws to mount them to the studs in a plaster wall. I had a very tough time screwing in the bottom screws on the bracket to to its close proximity to the decorative looping metal piece. If they would have been designed so that the mounting hole was just a 1/4" lower than the decorative loop, there would have been no issue. As is, I almost stripped the head of the screw trying to angle the screw driver to avoid the loop and did inadvertently scratch some of the paint from the "loop" on all 6 brackets I mounted. Makes me wonder if the manufacturers of these products actually test them after they're designed!

These are so pretty and very sturdy! We put shelves up in our mudroom and they look great. I plan on putting heavy items on the shelves, like glass jars of dryed beans and pasta, as an extension of my small pantry and have no fear in them holding up to the challenge.

These brackets were perfect for a project I'm working on. Only thing was that the wall anchors that came with them weren't very sturdy, I ended up using others I had laying around the house. Besides that, awesome product!
