RockTape is awesome stuff. I have a tear in my Achilles tendon and wearing this tape has essentially taken my chronic limp away. I ordered the original Rocktape the first time, and when it was time to order more, I went for the H2O which was a mistake. I teach boot camps,cycling and yoga and in between the sweaty sneakers and bare feet, I ask a lot from the tape. Replacing it every day gets expensive, and I thought the H2O would last longer, but it did not. The H2O tape is stiffer and less sticky and often doesn't last through the night, let alone a yoga class. My advice is to stick (that's punny) with the original version.

I was surprised that this tape was not as sticky as the less expensive tape my physical therapist used. I bought the waterproof version since it is supposed to stay on for longer. It didn't last well at all. I did apply it after using a sticky spray, but then had a terrible time getting off the parts that stuck well when some parts of the tape were coming off due to my clothing rubbing against it. (Low back pain, so it's hard to avoid friction from the waistband.) Not satisfied, and sorry I paid the extra for a LESS useful product.

This stuff is great. The YouTube videos they provide are great. It holds up for several days, including showers. However, it does get wet and absorb water. I tried another brand and was underwhelmed. It started to come off within 12 hours. A bit expensive but well worth it when you feel the results.

I honestly do not feel a difference where in the tape. What I didn't feel was intense itch, I ripped the tapered off about an hour after putting it on.
My husband is still wearing it I think due to the fact that he spent all this money on it. He claims that helps with his posture.
I'm giving it for stars do to the fact that you make me itch like crazy but my husband claims that it's working for him.

NOT water proof for me. I have to replace everyday. Will not stick in water, will not dry without curling.
Works well enough, will probably buy the cheaper brand next time as it does just as good and neither are water proof

My chiropractor recommended Rocktape, but the regular Rocktape only lasted about 2 days for me. One I found the Rocktape H2O. The real secret is in the application... making sure that you get the adhesive to activate.
I have only used Rocktape for my knees, but this is how I got the best results.

Start by cutting two equal strips approximately 8" long. then round the corners on both ends of the strips, the corners tend to catch and casue the tape to roll up.

The trick is leaving about a 1" strip at each end as an anchor, do not allow this part to be stretched. Do not remove the backing, tear it while the backing is on leaving it still in one piece with the backing torn about 1" from each end and then a tear in the middle.

Remove only one of the ends backing and when you have the correct placement use the backing that you removed (the side that the tape was NOT stuck to) to rub the tape to activate the adhesive with friction creating heat. One that piece is anchored, remove the next piece moving towards the middle. One you figure your placement, holding on to the piece that was just anchored, stretch out the tape with out tearing, to about 80-90% of it capacity, moving back to about 50% or half of how far it was stretched. This is how you can adjust the tension on the tape. The more it is stretched, the tighter the tension, the more it will support you movement. I have found that going above about 75% doesn't allow for as long a life on that application. Now use the backing again to rub the tape into place, then removing the next piece of backing, again stretching it to the required tension and using the backing to again rub the tape into place.Read more ›

LOVE the colors. The blue sticks like nobody's business. I was in KTape for close to 6 months post-injury and this was the best. The green was still great, just not as sticky. Regardless I would bring them in and my PT would tape me, and it was much more fun than their boring black or tan.
