I have used bio spot on my Min Pinscher for 5yrs. In MN the # 1 county for limes disease. My dog has never had a tick on him. My daughter used a "well known advertised" brand and her sweet Sheltie came down with lime disease last year. We pulled ticks off of him every time she came up. I am a true believer in bio spot!

This stuff does not work. I definitely loved the price. But the saying is true: you get what you pay for. I used one application then found fleas on my dog a week later. I washed him with a flea shampoo and combed the fleas out and reapplied the Bio Spot and 2 weeks later, more fleas.
On top of that it smells bad. The applicator is horrible and makes a mess. And it broke on the third application.
I'd much rather pay more and actually get a product where the one month supply lasts one month rather than using 3 applications in one month

I've used this for the first time last year on my dog. Not 1 flea. I liked it so much I bought it again this year. So far- so good. If you apply it right the liquid will not get all over the hair. Apply it in 3 spots along the spine--- Neck - back and rear. to date I have no complaints about this product and will continue to buy it at discount price on Amazon. Chose your seller carefully, however.

I have used Boi Spot now for 8 years on Same Dog Pit mix he is 72 lbs. and I have never had a problem.
We have gone boating/fishing playing in woods (chasing squirrels) Town house so no treated yard, we go walking over untreated grass
OH it repel mosquito at that WHAT!. This helps, I live in Savannah, GA KIng of gnats & skeeters also biting flies, it works on mosquitoes
although it does not stop biting flies,(they leave big whelps) .The winter months in Ga by Dec to March I dont even put it on him and still
nothing (Fleas).The only time I did have A problem, is when I ran out for a week but just a few Fleas during Mid Summer.
I have never used any other product cause I had no reason to/ (I did not even mention the low cost)
It is two thumbs up for me and two dewclaws up from my dog. not to many repel mosquito at that.
You need a Clean house and yard treated for flea, then give dog bath fully dry, add bio spot.

I was skeptical after trying many flea prevention products but was surprised to find that something so cost-effective could be so effective! I accidentally used more than I should have in one area and was sure that rubbing it off would keep it from working as well but it still did! I have an 8 lb Chihuahua and she's been flea-free for 3 weeks now. This is good stuff and 1/3 the price of other well-known products that did not works as well.

The best protection I have ever used for my two guardian sheepdogs (100+ pounds), guarding real sheep, open pasture and wooded areas, keeps off 99 percent of the ticks and fleas and the ones that get on soon die. Tough job! Also my mixed breed 85 pound indoor outdoor mixed companion canine. I very much recommend this product, I have used it about 3 years. Didn't like the applicator so much though.

I had gotten this flea protector for our 2 tiny dogs after using higher priced protection the months before. I thought if I could save a bit of money on the flea protection for the 2 dogs and 2 cats with this brand that it would be fantastic. It was a nightmare though. Within weeks all 4 pets had fleas and then the house had fleas. We didn't have this issue with the higher priced brand.... it has taken a lot of effort, time, and money to recover from the fleas and you bet the pets are back on the more costly stuff. Wish I hadn't tried this brand.

I have been using this product for my dogs for a long time and it works great at keeping the fleas and ticks away. I live in a warm climate where fleas and ticks are everywhere but as long as I use this at the scheduled time, I don't have any issues. I have gone too long between applications and noticed a flea or 2 on my dogs but they quickly disappeared after using this product. My dogs don't mind it either unlike other products I've used.
