Everyday I am surprised at how much it can hold. I never have a problem with whatever I want to put in here. I always have a reusable container, water bottle, apple, loose snacks and a vitamin container and there is still room. Also the shape makes for easy to find refrigerator space in my lunchroom break room. I love the pockets on the sides for napkins or loose papers and pens! I love that the straps are long enough to carry over my shoulder. I highly recommend this bag
