I previously purchased their 10-piece multi-ply stainless steel set, as well as the 13-inch wok and 11-inch sauté pan. Fit and finish are excellent, and the handles on the covers and pots do not get very hot, which is surprising because they are securely attached, metal-to-metal.

This 6-quart stockpot is no exception. The 10-piece set only had a 3-quart sauce pan then jumps to an 8-quart stockpot so I was badly missing a pot in the 5 to 6-quart capacity. The 6-quart stockpot fills that gap.

For induction cooking, aside from cast iron cookware, these are ideal. It is obvious that this 6-quart stockpot is a new addition to the line. Aside from having capacity measurements on the inside, in quarts and liters, this one has a vented glass lid—the first of its kind—which also fits the 8-quart stockpot.

If you are looking for induction-compatible cookware, or simply trying to get away from non-stick cookware, these are ideal. They are also great on electric burners because of the very flat bottoms, heavy enough to not warp.

I look forward to future additions to the line. What a great value. 5 stars!

Gorgeous pan. This seems really well made and so far, no warping issues on the bottom when I cook on high heat and the stainless cleans up nicely without too much elbow grease. This made a perfect batch of ghee out of 4 pounds of unsalted butter without burning because there is enough thickness on the bottom to give some insulation and keep the bottom from burning foods too easily. This lovely pan also makes perfect Sushi rice and delicious popcorn.

The handles stay cool which I really appreciate. The tempered glass lid has one built-in tiny steam vent and it's nice being able to see what's going on in the pot while it's cooking something.

This is a quality product. It looks well-made. I have other Cooks pots and I like them all very much. They're as good if not better than similarly designed All-Clad pots, and half the price.

The pot is not as deep as it shown in the picture. This tells me that the picture is not of the 6-quart stockpot but that of the 8-quart. But it's still a great pot.

I bought this to boil up nectar for hummingbirds. It's a terrific all around pot. Well made. Sturdy. I love the fill markings on the inside wall--I use them all the time. I filled it using a measuring cup, the markings seem accurate. The glass lid has a small hole for a thermometer or to release steam. It's stainless steel, well made, the handles stay as cool as possible.
The pot I had been using didn't have the small hole, instead it would spatter sugar syrup all over the place. No syrup seems to come out the little hole. Using this pot I've never had any mess.

This is a pretty good induction ready pan for the price. I have heavier pans and I have nicer pans, but this one is priced right, does a great job, and looks good. The vented lid is a plus. It does not jump up and down when you boil water, (as opposed to my more expensive pans with unvented lids.

I ordered this by searching for cooking pots and sorting by avg customer review. As the reviews state, it is a high quality pot. I live in a 'college' house, so kitchen space (and budget) is limited. I have also learned that for any high-use item, investing in quality will save you money in the long term, and probably the short term too. So, I wanted a single pot I could use for all of my cooking, and that will last. This is one is it :)

Looks like a well constructed stockpot but it's going back because there is printing inside on the surface of the metal. I have concerns that this ink will leech into the food over time and won't take the chance. Who knows whether it's toxic or not. Before buying we thought this was embossed or stamped into the metal.

Generally speaking, I hope we customers will write more objective reviews for products on Amazon. I've purchased many items that were rated 4 or 5 stars but found they had serious problem(s). Sometimes I see a 5 star review but the reviewer's description points out serious issues. It seems many people are reluctant to post low ratings even when they have concerns about the product. These reviews don't reflect on Amazon at all--they're for customers to make buying decisions and hopefully the manufacturers will take notice and improve the quality. In my experience Amazon is great company with top-notch customer service.
