Works fine and came right on time! I bought it for my Wii U to connect to my computer monitor since I don't have a TV with HDMI.
My only problem with it is that it won't show 1080p correctly from my Wii U on my monitor. It's too zoomed in and doesn't show the entire picture.
I'm not sure if that's a problem with the device, or an issue with my monitor. Although it shouldn't be my monitor because it can support up to 1440px wide.
Setting it to 720p works just fine though! The audio out works fine, albeit a bit loud. I used my headphones, but I'm sure it was meant to connect to a speaker.

I was going to give this 4 stars, but seeing as the 1080p issue could be my monitor or something else, I'll just rate it 5 stars since I don't know. Wouldn't be right to blame the product without knowing the truth. Although it's not a big issue anyway. 720p looks just fine to me!

This HDMI to VGA converter works perfectly. Some converters only allow you to convert the video, but this one allows you to break out the audio as well. Build construction is good and the picture and audio quality are great. The fit is great. There is no wiggle or looseness in the cable when plugged into the HDMI port.

This advertisement is for a VGA to Type A HDMI what I received is a VGA to Type C I am not very pleased, my application required a Type A HDMI as described.
