After purchasing the dragon go dog toy, I decided to give this one a try. Boy, did I waste my money. When it was delivered, I opened it, gave it to my dog and within 15 or so minutes I had to take it away from her. Frannie had torn off an eye, chewed a hole in the nose allowing stuffing to come out, ripped off one wing and chewed through a foot where more stuffing came out. Frannie is not a rough tear it up type of gal, but rather a chew it for a long time type. I contacted the company because they will replace one item per household for a replacement. After filling out one of the pages to receive said replacement where I had to send photos of the torn up rooster and the receipt and making my way to the second page, I learned the free replacement would cost me $3.50. So, I filled that out also. Then I receive an email from the company letting me know once my request for a "free" replacement has been approved it will take another 2 or so weeks before it will be shipped. It's just not worth the effort in my opinion. If I decide to ever purchase another one of these toys, it will not be this rooster. It just didn't hold up to the claim.

I have had this brand name of dog toys before and didn't hesitate to buy this based on the reputation of that toy. It gets 5 stars for cuteness. It's really adorable. It has squeekies in just about everything you touch. My Boston Terrier couldn't wait to get her paws on it. Unfortunately unlike most of their other toys this does not hold up to any chewing. It states it has chew guard but I am afraid it falls far short of it. She had within minutes ripped off the coating on the chicken. Try one of the others in the line is my opinion .
