Rubbed Vintage Burst Satin
  • The body of the LPM is a traditionally weight relieved Mahogany body with a Maple top. It also has a Maple neck with a 50's Rounded Profile.
  • The Fingerboard is Rosewood with Trapezoid inlays with the 120th Anniversary Logo on the 12th fret. Hardware is chrome and it has the Tune-O-Matic bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece.
  • It also has the larger strap pins with the Black Supreme Grip Speed Knobs. The pickups are the new '61 Zebra Humbucker which makes this colossal impossible to ignore.

I bought this LPM few weeks ago. This LPM is amazing - the sound (61 Zebra humbucking pickups sound really great), the weight, and the fantastic E-Tune component. However you may see several defeats of painting job and wood shaping craft issue (maybe that's because this is an entry-level Gibson). But with this price, I can accept these drawbacks. After all, this is a Gibson which MADE IN USA!!

If you have a limited budget but you really want to get a Gibson Les Paul, this LPJ/LPM is the one for you.

Nice entry-level Les Paul ("Les Paul" not written anywhere on guitar?) Good sound and so far the Min-ETune is ideal since I often use a slide in alternate tunings. Good value for the money!

the wood satin is plain and boring but its ok.. the minetune.. absolutely awful!! It works great until the device fails with no warning.. i enjoyed it for 38 days..it failed, i sent it back, the replacement model was defective out of the box. So i sent that one back and now i have a studio model..no stupid broken robot tuner. and now im happy. I was very interested in the minetune for awhile thought it would great and would remove the chore of tuning.. anything worth doing is worth doing right..do it your self.. oh and don't bother calling gibson tech support..useless
The guitar itself (the LPM) is awesome aside the main feature the minetune itself
