Not only did it go lower, but after owning this for less than a year and using it very little, plus I used it on the lowest level and only my foot and guitar were on it....it broke the two thin metal stops. Completely bent them back. Very cheaply made. Not worth buying but there doesn't seem to be anything else out there. I made my own with blocks of wood screwed together.
