The Ironclad gloves were a Christmas gift for my son.
He works outside in the wintertime at an industrial plant.
He says this is the best gift he has gotten! He loves

I'm a diehard Ironclad glove guy. I have been wearing their General Utility gloves for about a decade. They're tough and fit great. However, these Cold Condition Gloves aren't really cut out for the cold. I wore them this year, while plowing snow, and although they did a great job keeping my hands dry with the snow blowing all over me, they weren't too great at keeping them warm. Also, they are quite stiff, right out of the box and require a great deal of break-in time. Perhaps I'll upgrade to the Tundra gloves next year... although they are MUCH more expensive! :-/

wind cuts right through these gloves. i drive a forklift in a open environment at night so winter time gets cold (roughly single digits plus crusing 10mph). the secret to this kind of cold punishment is to buy rubber latex gloves and wear them underneath these ironclad gloves...

Better and not as good as their older model, the stitching in the fingers is better than their previous ones, but the neoprene cuff is a lot looser and not as comfortable, and makes it feel a little generic but their quality is still on par. I can frame houses all winter with 1 pair. They only last 1 season, but that's still awesome. This year's pair becomes next year's backup. There is a breaking in period that's about a week or two then it on like donkey Kong.

Ironclad use to be such good gloves when they were made in the USA. Now they are just cheaply made China gloves. The last 6 pair I have bought, all wore holes in the fingers within a week.
