In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. LOVE LOVE LOVE these new model!!

I have had the Kayano, and had many pairs of the Frantic. However, discontinued the Frantic, so tried the Cumulous but they were too "soft" for me and I didn't feel like I had the support I needed. Got these and from the get go, they were FABULOUS!! The heel has great stability and support, the toe box has ample enough space for my average width, and just the right amount of gel in the forefoot for comfort and stability. I run on dirt roads and these are perfect!! I am invigorated and find that I can go longer time and distance with no knee or foot problems. I would HIGLY recommend these and have become a huge fan of the Sendai! Love the color too! Thank you Asics!!

Awesome shoe!!!!!

No dislikes. A great shoe in every catagory. Iam a 57 year old female that works in a warehouse 8-10 hours a day on concrete I may add . I drive a forklift but mostly am on my feet for the majority of the day and those shoes (asics) have been the only brand I will buy for that very reason and they run true to there size. I havent counted nor will I but I could safely say I must have 40 - 50 pairs of asics alone, probably more. I may spend waaaaay too much money on athletic shoes but I only have one set of feet and the asic shoe helps me keep them in good shape. Hats off to asics cuz I sure dont want to take my shoes off. Too comfy!

Ran a Marathon in them

This is a great shoe. I order them about 6 weeks ago to run my very first marathon! I was a little worried about ordering them online but decided to go for it. I ALWAYS wear asics and LOVE THEM. I usually wear Kayano's but I really wanted to try something different because I was having plantar problems. I ordered these and have been running in them pretty consistently and I really appreciate the fit. The way I would describe them is a hybrid of the Kayano and Kinsei. I like the lift in the heel with the gel type sole and the wider front which makes the shoe fit my foot perfectly. I wear a 6 1/2 and thats what I ordered and it fit perfectly. I am 5'2 and 135 lbs. I do however, wear moldable inserts with all of my shoes now because I have a high arch and the plantar problems were getting VERY annoying; the moldable inserts have helped :-)

This shoes are so very comfortable, it is like walking on a soft pillow. I an exceptionally grateful for this product. Make my walking workouts feel less stressful to my lower extremities. I so love the colors!!! I really could wear these shoes all day, every day. I have found my self with them still on when I lied down in bed. That's how comfortable and light they are.

Very comfortable shoes except the toe is a bit long and it feels a half size too big but it's not because I tried a half size down and it was too small. These shoes would probably be better for someone with narrow feet. Other than that, they are great shoes!!

What a pain in the arch!

I love Ascis and my positive experience with the last pair that I owned prompted me to order another pair. Unfortunately, these shoes caused pain hurt my arches and in my right knee. I tried wearing the shoes with and without the removable cushions in the sole. The experience was horrible.

I can't be without these shoes!!!!!!
