Take to the court in confidence in the ASICS� GEL-Domain� 3 volleyball shoe. This men's athletic shoe has a synthetic and breathable air mesh upper with RhynoSkin� over the forepart for durable support; the Personalized Heel Fit (P.H.F.�) utilizes two layers of memory foam to mold to the heel. Underfoot, signature GEL� cushioning at the forefoot and rearfoot and lightweight SpEVA� deliver shock absorption to every fast-moving competition. The ASICS� GEL-Domain� 3 volleyball sneaker is finished with a durable rubber traction outsole that stops when you want it to.

In 1949, Mr. Kihachiro Onitsuka began his athletic footwear company (Onitsuka Co., Ltd.) by manufacturing basketball shoes out of his living room in Kobe, Japan. He chose the name ASICS for his company in 1977, based on a famous Latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano," which, when translated, expresses the ancient ideal of "A Sound Mind in a Sound Body." Taking the acronym of this phrase, ASICS was founded on the belief that the best way to create a healthy and happy lifestyle is to promote total health and fitness.     The shoes play great, but these gel domain 3 shoes consistently rip on the side of the shoe in the same exact spot. I'm on my 3rd pair, really want them to work because I've used gel domain 2 for years, but all 3 ripped on the outside as seen in the picture. It doesn't look bad, but that little tab of rubber ends up digging into your foot once the shoe tears, rubbing my foot raw.

    These shoes are amazing! They fit perfect and are very comfortable. They are made out of very strong/long lasting material. These are great if you lift at the gym, especially when squatting! They support my feet very well and keep them locked into place. Every time I put them on, they feel like cushions on my feet. Absolutely love these shoes, would highly recommend them!

    I've played indoor volleyball with these shoes a few times now and don't really have any complaints other than the weight of the shoes. They feel heavier than the basketball shoes I was using before, but on the flip side they grip well and feel very stable. So I'm happy with them but due to the weight will subtract a star.

    They seem a little large. I normally wear either an 11 or 11.5 because I have wide feet. These shoes seem to be a bit wider around the heel/ankle area than I was expecting. They look really nice though and I have received a lot of compliments. They also give excellent arch support which was my main concern when buying them.

    The color is awesome looks great but they are very uncomfortable and heavy. Used them several times to try and break them in but never happened. Made my feet hurt more and more I cut my playing time on several occasions so now they sit in my closet. :(

    My husband purchased these shoes a little over 3 months ago and the shoes are already falling apart. He had to take them to a shoe repair shop because they were falling apart so badly. They are comfortable shoes but the quality is extremely low. Athletic shoes should not be falling apart within 3 months from purchasing them. He has worn ASICS before and never had a problem with them so I don't know if this particular style or if this pair of shoes is just defective.

    "You get what you pay for" proves itself true again with the Domain 3. I bought my pair at Paragon Sports for $100 and had tried on two other pairs - Asics Tactics ($95) and Gel-Rocket 7s ($70). I purchased the Domain 3s because of the stability they provided vs. the other two, which I believe is attributable to the better quality material (less mesh and more solid material). I've used them a few times since my purchase and am VERY happy with them. I definitely recommend these.
