My wife is, almost, obsessive about the state of our stainless appliances and we have a number of them, we've tried products like Zep and 409 stainless cleaners and wipes like Weiman all of which seem to work well enough. The selling point for this particular product seems to be the lack of silicones. The wipes are a thin mesh cloth, not intended for any excessive scrubbing action, they are as described 'wipes.'

The oils are what leave the sheen on the appliances. I do notice less streaking than other products and a somewhat more resistant shine, that does not show fingerprints as much as some other polishes. Overall, a usable product, though I think the product might be a little more pricy than the standard product on the market.

These are not heavy duty chrome cleaners, but for a quick wipe to bring a shine to chrome they work fine. The scent is mild and not unpleasant. They are a convenient, useful addition to your bathroom or kitchen cleaning materials, but note that they will not tackle serious discoloration or stains – they are for a quick, brightening-up wipe.

Recently, my boyfriend and I purchased a new condo (YAY!). We picked a unit that recently had the kitchen renovated....with all new stainless-steel appliances. I was so excited to have a great kitchen because we love to cook. If anyone else out there cooks, then you know what a mess you can make while creating an delicious meal. Our fridge took the worst beating, and constantly had marks from opening the doors with food filled hands. I would wipe down the doors with a rag or sponge, and I even tried those clorox wipes. Nothing seemed to keep the fridge clean without streaks. I tried out these Tub O Towels Stainless Steel wipes once, and they are fantastic. I sent my friends pictures of how shiny and clean my appliances were. The food debris came right off, and the wipes left an incredible shine! The best news, there are no streaks. I don't have to worry about wiping the fridge 'with the grain' of the stainless steel. I can scrub in circles or diagonally, and there are still no streaks. Never has our kitchen looked so perfect.

We have multiple stainless steel appliances. All of them have a "brushed" finish as opposed to being shiny. We have had issues with fingerprints and smudges, and trying to keep the finish looking good. The good news is that if you want to make your stainless steel appliances look pretty, these will do the trick. If you are looking for heavy duty cleaning, go for the soap and water first.

Generally, our appliances get cleaned regularly. When I say regularly, I mean any time we see food, fingerprints, etc. Our appliances typically do not get all that dirty, unless food splatters. So our issue is not cleanliness so much as polish. After we clean the refrigerator, the stove, etc., it may be clean, but cleaning leaves streaks on the stainless steel. Historically, we have used stainless steel polish to make the surfaces look uniform. Of course, stainless steel polish comes with all sort of warnings because the primary ingredients are toxic, and spraying these in your kitchen with food about might be something you prefer to avoid. You probably do not want the chemicals in these wipes in your food either, but at least you are not spraying the chemicals in the wipes into the air.

We wanted to try these wipes for the same purpose we use stainless steel polish, and they do that task, polishing, fairly well. These wipes will not remove hard water, but we have found through experience that we have to wipe water off the refrigerator immediately to keep from having hard water spots. Yes, it's a pain to do that, but it is the only sure-fire way to prevent water spots. Hard water can be really tough to remove from stainless steel. The wipes are only okay, at best, in removing dried food (water and a dish rag are much better, in our opinion).Read more ›

I love these things. No residue here--cleaned with wipe, then gave a quick swipe with a clean, dry cloth per the instructions--not very careful, yet still no residue at all for me.

The dedicated stainless steel cleaners I tried in the past reeked of petroleum--I saw one review complaining of a motor oil smell, which makes me wonder if these have been reformulated. I am familiar with that smell from the Johnson Commercial spray cleaner for stainless. It was awful and pretty much the reason my stainless leaves something to be desired--couldn't stand the smell, so I've just used regular cleaner or a wet rag. This has a definite cleaner smell, but not that strong petroleum smell, just a medium-strong lemon smell.

These wipes were absolutely amazing and made quick work of: commercial stainless reach-in fridge; residential "brushed stainless" faced refrigerator; commercial stainless warewasher; stainless surfaces (backsplash, oven doors, dial face, shelf) of commercial oven; residential stainless microwave and convection toaster oven; toaster, coffee maker, waffle iron, electric kettle.

I am a very reluctant housekeeper and these worked so well that I polished every stainless surface in my kitchen. In all cases, the surfaces looked lovely and all the nooks and crannies were relieved of any buildup with a little attention but no elbow grease. I just kept going until the wipe was completely filthy, and it worked well til the end. It took me just 4 or 5 wipes to clean all of the surfaces mentioned above, and they were all quite neglected.

What really impressed me was how it just breezed through that sticky mix of half-baked grease and dust you get on surfaces on and around your stove.Read more ›
