A few months ago my ankle became swollen and my doctors were not able to determine the reason (I do not recall an injury). Anyway, I was instructed to take NSAIDs for at least 6 weeks and also wear a brace. Not wanting to deal with the side effects of the NSAIDs, I purchased Zyflamend and used it for approximately 2 1/2 months without much success. My ankle remained painful and swollen. I panicked because it seemed nothing was working. I decided to look for other options and that's when I found Extinguish!! I gave it a try because of the success that I have had with using another MegaFood's product. I am usually very skeptical when I read reviews where people claim the product worked right away but Extinguish totally did for me!! I started taking Extinguish at night and I was extremely surprised the first night after taking it. Voilà! There was an obvious decrease in the pain I was experiencing and within a few days I was able to once again recognize the bone in my ankle!! Yes the area was very swollen. I am continuing to take the product and I hope to continue seeing improvements. I hardly feel pain now, mostly stiffness/soreness and I am very thankful for this product. Please note that I am not discrediting the value of Zyflamend—the product came highly recommended to me and many people have had outstanding results—it was not very efficacious for me. I have been telling the story of my experience with Extinguish to everyone who will listen because I am so excited—I thought all hope was lost but I can happily say no more, thanks to Mega Food.

The pain and inflammation that I've had in my leg for two years in easing in part because of this very safe herbal remedy. My x-ray showed no breakage occurred but my lower leg was swollen --inflamed and very painful.

I was looking for a remedy that was safer than a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug and would not contribute to a bleeding stomach even when taken as recommended. Now, I think I've found it. It's much easier than making a tea or cooking with Indian spices and herbs and it works equally well at reducing pain and inflammation.

I am very pleased. As with all remedies, I do not over take the amount recommended, but it still works. The pain has subsided and the inflammation is greatly reduced.

Thanks for a non-"biologic" remedy made with whole foods, which works without dangerous side effects.

While I was hoping this supplement would help as an anti-inflammatory for my arthritis a bit, I also hoped it would help in other inflammatory processes in my body. Indeed, it did, because my most recent bloodwork shows my cholesterol is lower, including my triglycerides, with which I've been struggling for years. Also my blood pressure is better, and my blood sugar is in a healthy range. All of this while recovering from a broken foot, so I couldn't do any cardio work! I'm still hoping eventually it will help with my arthritis too, but in the meantime I know that taking this supplement is doing good things for other parts of my body. The pills are small and easy to swallow, which is also a plus.

As an avid weigh-lifter for the past fifteen years (currently in my early thirties), I put a lot of stress on my joints. I've had countless issues with tendonitis and tendinosis (i.e. chronic tendonitis) over the years affecting my bicep tendon (where the bicep meets the shoulder and where the bicep meets the elbow), tricep tendon and rotator cuff that have collectively, for periods of time, limited my activities for months. Needless to say, I've been on the hunt for an herbal supplement that would help calm some of the inflammation associated with those injuries and perhaps prevent them from occurring / recurring for quite some time. I think I have finally found that product in Turmeric Strength.

I've tried many other supplements purporting to help joint inflammation with limited (if any) success). I found Glucosamine and Chondrontin to be worthless (not surprising in light of the paucity of positive clinical research findings in their favor). Fish oil didn't provide a noticeable impact for me, nor did Zyflamend, but Turmeric Strength has done the trick. I was suffering from a particularly tough case of bicep tendinosis (wasn't going away despite resting my bicep and icing it for weeks) when I started taking it 2x a day faithfully, and within a couple of weeks it resolved itself. Perhaps more impressively, despite undertaking tougher training for the past few months since starting my supplementation, I haven't had any persistent joint issues.

Will this work for you? I know from my experience among fellow bodybuilders and powerlifters that different products work for different people. Having said that, if you're suffering from joint pain this one is worth a shot in my opinion. Turmeric has solid research backing its application as an anti-inflammatory and Mega Food is a best-in-industry manufacturer (meaning their turmeric product has the best chance of delivering you the results the herbal is capable of providing). Its been a life-saver for me.

I received the product quickly and it was wrapped in bubble wrap and in an appropriately sized box. After taking these as directed for one week I noticed that I had lots of black-and-blues on my arms and legs. I take ibuprofen on a daily basis for arthritis. I think that, along with one of the ingredients in this supplement (? Holy basil) was the cause. So I had to stop taking them. My husband is taking them with no problem.
