Besides the fact that the case causes the camera lens to get covered in dust constantly (which is hard to clean in this case) and the fact that using the edges of your touch screen is nearly impossible at times, if one speck of dust gets on the plastic covering the finger print reader, it won't scan. The headphone jack cover is annoying because only apple brand headphones fit into it, which is fine until you want to use an adapter and have to rip the entire case off.
Within in the first week of owning it, the case cracked right above the home button. Since then the yellow plug for in the charging port has fallen out, the rubber around the front of the case has ripped and rubbed off and the rubber around the volume buttons and mute button are cracked and about to rip off. I have had issues with this case for a while now and its upsetting beings how I paid $99.99 for it at Verizon (I know, I know, I was horribly overcharged but that's not the point here) and I haven't even had it for a year. If you do purchase this case make sure you register it immediately and keep EVERYTHING because if you need to file a claim as I just have, they will need every bit of information.
As for the water proof part, I haven't tried it with anything but the tester because after seeing how bad the case holds up I am too afraid to risk it.
