I have a couple of issues which stop this set from earning 5/5 stars. (Windows 7 Professional)

1) The keyboard. There is an extra button between the L and the Enter button. It's "/" So I'm always typing " / " after a line...then backspacing and correcting. On the plus side, I love the lights and it comes with clear buttons so that you can customize.

2) The mouse. About 9 of 10 times it works great. The 10th time, after boot, I have to unplug the USB and plug it back in, in order for the computer to recognize the mouse. On the plus side, it's a great size and I like it.

The keyboard aside from the letter in the key not lighting this keyboard is one of the nice ones I have owned and is a good first one
The mouse is very responsive and works like a charm I have no cons for the mouse other then the light on mine does not turn off even after my pc is turned off
Now with the cons they are really no problem for me I know the keys on the keyboard and the light does not bother me any so I do recommend any one this that wants a good combo for a even better price

I am a gamer, and personally This set of keyboard/mouse is the absolute best for the price. I compare the mouse to a R.A.T 5 gaming mouse in the quality. The keyboard is very responsive to repetitive abuse of keys, and where the keyboard and mouse is back lit you can really wow people as they walk by it. I would compare the key board to a Logitech G-15 key board with out all of the useless buttons. I have now had this keyboard/mouse for about three months and personally they are holding up well. Warning you will need a soft mouse-pad to get the higher DPI set value to respond correctly and not feel sluggish. The double click on the mouse itself works great, for anyone who serfs the web. its easier on your hand, I also am in collage and am currently having to type English papers, and after typing for hours you don't get the pain in your wrists or any discomfort. all rounded up to be 5 out of 5 stars!

A beautiful set I love the way they light up. I bought one of their wireless mouse is as well, very nicely made. I use them all the time. I would really love to get the keyboard that has 3 different colors on it but I am way too good at wasting money. A spoiled brat basically

I was so excited when I got this out of the box it looked AMAZING. plugged the keyboard in and the lights came on and looked great, plugged the mouse it, looked and worked great and then i went to type something and nothing. It seems if i wiggle the cord for the keyboard it may work, and no we tested my usb port and it is in fact the cable to the keyboard. I am returning it and i'm so dissapointed because the mouse works amazing. I think if they added the braided cord that they have on the mouse to the keyboard maybe this would be less likely to happen?
(Update: i decided not to send it back only because I do really like the mouse a lot but the keyboard is still dead. I try it every so often praying to the keyboard gods that it might work, but still no avail it's dead. don't know what i'll do with a non working keyboard, throw it out i suppose. maybe salvage for parts/led lights? if i thought i could do it without electrocution i would splice the cord and reattach it where i think the break is but i seriously recommend against that. besides, i've been using the mouse off and on and i would feel like a jerk returning part of a products i've been using.

I liked the keyboard quite a lot. I took one star because although i like the mouse a lot it feels like i'm having to curl my wrist up and dig my fingers toward my elbow to use this. It is smooth though so if it works for you by all means. all in all for the price i couldn't be happier

Best deal on the planet. Great for ones first gamer items buy. The keyboard is the main item to focus on. Excellent placement, easy to get used to the "\" placement. The lights cannot be turned off would be the only catch but it is very visible during the day and there is no need to turn it off. The mouse actually has a dpi shift button and all. Not the perfect hand fit. Yet is an excellent combo price.
