I think this is the third version of the ProteinPlus in the past 6 or 7 years and for me it is by far the best due to the combination of texture and taste. Hard to find in stores for some reason so had to order on line. Much prefer the peanut butter cookie flavor over the mint.

I had hoped these would taste really good since they have more sugar in them than the vanilla flavor. These don't taste bad, but the vanilla is better in my opinion. Since the vanilla has significantly less sugar I prefer them; however, the PB are around $5 cheaper per pack. You probably can't go wrong with either, but because of the sugar content and taste, I will go with the vanilla in the future.

Love the taste on these bars. Some of the comments say these have a lot of sugar but less sugar would make them taste like cardboard. I always buy them at Walmart at $7.82 for a box of 6, two boxes would be $15.64. I was expecting them to be at least of the same price but these are too expensive at $26.09 for only 15 bars plus shipping and handling? Hmmm don't think so.
