Overall like it. The best thing about it is the fact that it's quite thin, but still really warm. It has a reflective layer inside that works really well to reflect heat back to my head. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that it's a little longer than I would prefer. I wear 7 3/4 fitted hats and have a pretty big head, so I ordered this one in "L / XL" and it fits the circumference around my head perfectly - like a glove, but the length brings it down past my eyebrows, which is a little longer than I like (see pictures). If I pull it down any further in the back to pull it up my forehead, then it doesn't fit right. Originally I got it because I don't like the kind of hats that you roll up. They're too bulky. I wanted a slim-looking beanie, and I like Columbia products so I got this one. I still like it, and I'm glad I got it, but it's not perfect.

Fits me, and it fairly warm. Obviously not some kind of gigantic furhat or anything, so don't expect to feel extremely protected. But it does a good job. Comfortable enough and the small/medium fit my tiny head very well, which might be a problem for 'medium' sized heads since I'd consider my head 'small'.

Good quality and warm, but its small (nothing medium about the S/M). I have small enough head that most hats are too large. This one fits perfect in length and it's still a little tighter around than I would like.

I've only worn it for about an hour (non-stop). It doesn't overheat like most acrylic hats. It could be comfortable enough that I forget I'm wearing it except that it's slightly tight on my ears. Maybe it will stretch out in time. The color is excellent, just like the pictures.

Update: Now my favorite hat, might buy another. It's great, but you'll want something heavier for < 20*F weather

Love it. I live in Florida. I got the thermarator in Black. Tried on in a store. I got large/XL and they run SMALL. They are LONG in that they come down rather low, so I fold up the brim. I felt there was no way this would stay on so I added an adjustable strap. Used it one time, while kayaking. Got too hot, tucked it into my PFD and lost it. Oops. Came on Amazon, ordered another one in White. More girly color. This is a nice THIN fleece beanie with the silver dot thermal inside. I love the columbia thermals. Not used to wearing big coats in Florida or Houston, but the columbia thermals are nice...and saved my bacon. I got tons of those sweater beanies, but this is so nice had to reorder it.

Average sized head, so I ordered the Small/Medium, and it fits me well. I was anxious about it being too short, but it covered most of my ears with no problems. I really like that it is incredibly light, but still keeps my head warm and comfortable in 30 degree weather. Would certainly buy again.

I like the thermerator fabric, which really does help keep heat in. I didn't give it 5 stars because it's just too tight to be really comfortable on my big head, and I got the biggest size available. I wish they had a bigger size.

Wow - this is the best little cap I've ever had... you can actually feel it keeping the heat in! Perfect for any cold weather situation.... just love this thing, it works better at keeping you warm than even a giant fur-lined hat that I have... I'm now addicted to any of their shirts, jackets, etc. that have the silver lining inside of them.
