Boxed well and received on time. However, item needed a full wipe down, inside and out, before I could consider putting it to use. There was a layer of particulate covering every surface which wiped off black. There was also a very strong odor which was off-putting for the first few days, had to let it air out. Odor is still slightly there but definitely not as strong when opening drawer.

I wanted the drawer to be on top rather than the bottom and swapped it. For the most part it fits, however it does bind/contact during 30%-60% open and then frees up again. Minor nuisance, wished it was smoother but not enough to make me want to return it. Also, the unit cannot be flipped upside down as there are feet on the bottom and a pleather surface on top where monitor sits. Inside of drawer is a little rough, not nearly as smooth as the rest of the product.

Despite these minor issues, the quality is overall good and gets the job done raising my monitor perfectly while adding storage in a classy fashion. Be sure to measure the height you want your monitor raised while compensating with the stand (area from base of stand to bottom of screen).

Would be nice if there was compartments inside the drawer.

Sit in your chair comfortably with proper posture with appropriate chair height for 90 degree bend in knee.
Direct your eyes to a default center point while your head is level, mark on wall, ruler or standing box with pin
Find center point of monitor screen (half of measured height of screen, not including frame)
Measure distance from default eye center point to center point of monitor
(Alternatively, measure center of monitor screen INCLUDING the stand and subtract from default eye-center point.Read more ›

Nifty contraption and it is well made. The leather top is a nice touch.

The draw is nice but the top shelf seems unnecessary as it is extremely deep and short so you can only really put paper in it. Really just makes this too tall.

This is much too tall to be a monitor stand. My monitor was above my head after I put it on here. Unless your desk is extremely low this will not work as a monitor stand.

Also the back isn't flat and it looks very odd so if your computer back faces outward it has a strange appearance.

This monitor stand is great! I own the other stands in this series (printer and phone stand). This stand is durable and looks great on my desk. Very professional look and provides the extra storage I need. Although this is labeled for a monitor stand, I have an big iMac that looked awkward on top of this stand. It looked too small to accommodate it, so I ended up using it for my laser printer, which fits perfectly on top of this stand. Definitely would recommend this product if you are looking for a stand with extra storage.

This is a lovely piece for the desk. The wood is nice, the hardware and window on the drawer are a nice touch. I was really happy that it arrived fully assembled. On the other hand, it is a bit tall (I almost feel that I have to look up at my monitor now. If I raise my chair, my legs won't fit under my keyboard drawer and my feet won't touch the floor very well). It is also rather deep. It takes up a lot of space on the desk. The measurements provided are accurate, so it is my own fault that I'm started by the size.

It's a handsome product and I will keep it, though. I even recommend it to anyone who is sure such a big desk item is needed.

I am generally very pleased with this item. It can be hard to find executive quality items at a reasonable price and this one looks great on my desk. It also reduces neck strain by raising the monitor and provides storage as a bonus.

My only concern is that the black paint inside the storage compartments is rough and does not seem to be cured. It leaves black dust on things. I'll see if this improves after wiping it down a few times. If not, I may try a replacement.

Extremely well made and it has cleared up a lot of space on my desk, thus reducing clutter. That's saying a lot from me...I am The Clutter King. I'll be buying a couple of these for my desks at the shop. Well worth the money when you compare them to the ones at half the price. They have failed and even had the drawers break. The quality of this riser is evident from the first time you hold it.

I like this a lot. It's the right height for the elevation I wanted. Looks nice and is obviously sturdy, being wood vs. plastic or mesh. It had one little paint chip on the front that was easily touched up with a Sharpie marker.
