I got a large and I thought they'd be a little bigger, although I have long fingers and a normal sized palm. However, they are very comfy, cozy and keep my fingers warm. Can't wait to use them for my ski trip to Colorado.

Warm and toasty, but design could be better

These mittens fit well, they keep my hands very warm when I'm skiing, and they're very attractive. One thing I failed to take into consideration when I bought them was the design of the wrist cuff and the lack of a retention loop. Sometimes, when you're on the lift chair, you need to take a glove off, and it helps to have a retention loop in place so you don't have to worry about accidentally dropping the glove. I did buy a retention clip, and that has worked so far. The cuff of the glove doesn't extend far enough over the wrist in my opinion. If you're skiing in powder, you want to be sure no snow gets into the sleeve of your jacket, so it's helpful if the glove has an extended cuff that fully covers the bottom of your sleeve. They do not have a pocket for handwarmers, although it's easy enough wear liners with a little pocket (in fact, that probably works better since the warmer is pressed more closely against your hand). I'm not sending the mittens back, but I do think they could be designed a little better. My bad for not noticing these particular issues when I selected the mittens.
