THIS IS AMAZING. If you are trying to make up your mind - let me be the one to help you. GET IT NOW. This shampoo is definitely a 5-star spa in a bottle experience. I am not kidding you, I stand in the shower with it in my hair and close my eyes. It feels delicious to my scalp, makes my hair absolutely fabulous and the smell is arometherapy to my life. Get the conditioner as well. In the summer months, I wash my hair almost daily with specialty shampoos for curly kinky hair. I replaced it for a month with this Dove Pure Care Dry Oil Shampoo. The smell of this shampoo is AMAZING!! My husband loves it as well, he keeps wanting to smell my hair everytime I take a shower. Would have never thought a shampoo would smell that good! :) And to top it off, it leaves my hair smooth and shiny. This is by far one of the best shampoos I've ever had. Hope they never discontinue it.

The smell of the oils in this shampoo make it a forever shampoo for me. It's just a shame my local Target store has this item discontinued so I have to get it overpriced on Amazon so anyone else who is interested in this item, just be wary of that fact. What I like about the smell of this shampoo is that it's so perfumey and it sort of reminds me of my late grandmother's soft perfumey hard pressed powder she'd apply to her neck before going to a family event. But it's very pleasant over all.

I bought this on accident, thinking it was a dry shampoo in a weirdly shaped bottle. I tried it... but honestly it's too heavy on my hair. I try to wash only every other day, and my hair is waist length and very thick. This was ok when I blow dried it, but ultimately would be better for curly or very dry hair - not normal to oily thick, long hair.

I really wanted this to work but it is too heavy for my hair. I wash it every other day because the roots get oily but this shampoo makes it look oily all over the strand, right after it air dries! I'm so sad, Dove has always worked so great for me, I bet this products works wonders if your hair is really dry or very damaged.

I was in my local grocer looking for a shampoo that was not too pricey (budget blown that week *LoL*). I have been staying away from shampoos with sulfate in them but due to budget and my curiosity of how Dove's hair products work, I decided to give this a try. I was amazed at how my hair DID NOT feel stripped while washing or after washing like a lot of sulfate shampoos do. This shampoo made me feel like I was using a conditioner. It had so much slip. You know how some shampoos, while washing, makes your hair feel all tangled or matted? I did not get that at all with this shampoo. I actually double checked the bottle to make sure I didn't accidentally purchase the conditioner instead. Also, even though this shampoo has quite a few oils in it, my hair did not feel greasy at all. My hair actually felt clean. This shampoo will definitely be my go-to whenever I use a sulfate shampoo. The only con is that this shampoo doesn't seem to last long. I have very thick hair. I have had the shampoo for about a month and a half and I wash biweekly. Now, I only have enough shampoo for 2, MAYBE 3, more washes. 12 ounces isn't really a lot so if you have a lot of hair and/or wash your hair multiple times a week, you may want to purchase two at a time or find an alternative. But I still give this shampoo five stars. Great job Dove on this hair product! *LoL*

I have been using the shampoo and conditioner for about a month and I like it very much. The scent does smell like baby powder, which I don't mind.

I have dry, course, thick Chinese hair that looks shiny and feels amazingly soft afterwards. My hair is FULL and BOUNCY after using their shampoo and conditioner-not weighed down.

Check out the picture. This my hair without any product or leave-in conditioner right after my hair air-dried. (You can ignore my greys though. They are my aged hairs saying 'hi'. :))

I would recommend these products to people with similar hair (dry, straight, thick, course).

I use the regular Dove Daily Moisture Shampoo/Conditioner combo and wanted to try this since my skin and hair are more dry in winter. Even though this this states it is for dry hair and advertises "dry oil", it was not moisturizing. It left my hair dry and not smooth the way the regular "old" Dove shampoo did.
