Needed a good pair of flats

Had to find a good pair of flats, neutral color, not too athletic but supportive. Have a wide foot, narrow heel and pretty much live in Birkenstocks. 62 years old, low back issues, almost never wear skirts or dresses because I owned no comfortable shoe that didn't look ridiculous but did support my high arches.
This little flat looks dressy, but fits comfortably. Believe I will be able to wear these shoes, stand and walk around for a number of hours without following the adventure with a tortured night! Hurray. Fit well, medium arch support, not too snug, but still feels secure...no walking right out of the shoe!
Hated to spend so much money and risk yet another pair or shoes gathering dust in my closet. These will NOT languish and become a donated item in a year or so. They may have to be replaced due to endless use...WOW, cute shoe that is healthy and comfortable...about time.

The perfect comfort dress flat

I looked for months for a black flat that was just right, and this is it. I work at a job where I stand or walk around all day, but have to dress up, so I can't wear heels. I needed a black flat that was dressy, but still comfortable and supportive enough to get me through a day of standing. This shoe is nicely cushioned and has lots of padding and support, and still looks like a nice dress shoe. My feet feel like they are wrapped in pillows! The only complaint is after the second day, I noticed an irritating rubbing from a small nub on the the inside seam where the heel meets the side. I just needed to rub it a couple of times with a nail file, and it was good to go, no more issues. I'll be looking for more dressy shoes from Trotters in the future.

Finally!

I've been looking for flats in a wide width that would accommodate my assorted foot issues and cover my ugly feet. Earlier this year I found two pair of Trotters sandals that provided the coverage I wanted but were also attractive and very comfortable. I decided to give the flats a try.

They are perfect. The leather is soft and they come up far enough on the foot to avoid "toe cleavage." The soles are also soft and the slightly elevated heel makes them more comfortable than a perfectly flat shoe.

Definitely recommend

Color comes off almost immediately

These shoes are pretty comfortable for walking long distances. However I got the gold ones and the color started peeling off the first day I wore them. I bought these so I wouldn't look scruffy in sneakers, but business shoes with flaking color are almost worse. For the price I think this is unacceptable.

Cute Shoes

I was looking for a replacement pair of black shoes with a silver buckle and these were the only ones I could find anywhere. I had never heard of the brand but decided to give it a try. They are well made, are comfortable and look nice with pretty much any outfit I put them with. The only thing is that they run a little narrow. Thankfully my feet are skinnier than most but if they were any more narrow, I would have had to send them back as they are snug. Other than that, good buy.
