Best design for making cookies, but the older one I have (from many years ago) is much better quality. This one feels like it going to snap apart when squeezing or that the 'blade' will break when scooping.

I have a cookie dough scoop exactly like this that I paid much, much more for at one of those overpriced kitchen parties. You know what I'm talking about - the kind of party where a co-worker invites you and you really don't want to go but you have to because they bought Girl Scout cookies when you were selling them for your kid. So you go to the party and either A - buy the cheapest thing you can find just so you can call it even; or B - blow half your paycheck on a bunch of kitchen crap you'll hardly ever use. In my case it was the latter with one exception: I just LOVE this cookie dough scoop! I'm not going to lie and say I use it all the time because, honestly, Betty Crocker I am not. However, when I DO make cookies from scratch (i.e. Christmas), this thing has been so handy. I'm actually ordering another one for my daughter, who has threatened to take mine when she moves out next year. It's a handy little gadget for making drop cookies neatly and quickly.
