they fit perfect and were just what i was looking for!
Without even using the New Balance stick, I was able to go on a 7 mile run and to my amazement, no blisters!
I purchased these socks because of the reviews which stated they were comfortable and blister resistant.

These socks are worth the price. I used to wear thin socks but lately had to go up 1/2 size in my trail-running shoes and I needed a thicker sock because the shoes were just a little too roomy in the forefoot. I don't usually have problems with blisters but I was doing my first 30k trail race and thought it was better to be safe than sorry. These were comfortable all day, and the gray color helps conceal all the dirt from the trails.

I am a complete convert to Belega brand socks. They are absolutely the best. As a heavy weight person trying to walk a lot for exercise, blisters can be a huge problem. These socks (and the "Moh-rino" version also from Belega) are the best! I have tried dozens of different brands of socks. So, I have just saved you all a lot of research and expense! :)

I ordered a pair of these socks a few weeks ago to see if they would help alleviate the blisters on my feet while ruck marching (walking with a weighted backpack). I had put them to the test doing small rucks 12 miles and less and to my surprise no blisters. This previous weekend I decided to really put them to the test. I did The 31 Miles for 31 Heroes ruck through D.C. I thought surly after 15 hours of walking I had to have a blister; however, after finishing I was astonished to find no traces of any blisters or raw rubbing. I can't say how long they will help prevent blisters when wet but during 31 miles I only changed these socks out for another pair one time.

I'm 65 and have been walking for a while with the diagnosis of Diabetes . Use to get some blisters some quite bad. I was told about these from my neighbor who is a marathon runner. I bought a pair and took a 6 mile walk with no blisters 3 days later walked 8 miles and did have a tiny non bothersome blister about the size smaller then a dime. That was the last time I got a blister and am still walking. I now own 2 pr of these and 2pr of the crew sox for winter walking.

I might try the Enduro model before I totally commit. But for now I am happy. I don't run or even jog, but I walk a whole lot. I love the way they snug my foot and never slip at all. My toes do not move around; therefore, I have been blister free after walking 12 miles the other day.

But also there is more, for these babys make me want to walk faster and take a longer stride with a little extra spring in my step. The Enduros have less wool in the blend but have a little more padding right where I'd lace my boots. Yes, boots, not sneakers, but low-cut boots [New Balance 978] that almost totally hide the sock from view.

I may be ignorant if the perfect sock does exist, but for me the perfect sock would be a Balega Blister Resist low-cut hiking sock that went about an inch higher and had that extra padding for the top of my foot. But in the mean time, I'm gonna order another pair from Jogger's Corner who sent me a free pair cuz they sent the low ones by mistake and with sincere apologies told me to keep the ones they sent. I feel kinda bad cuz I use the low socks with sandals and sometimes my boots even if they are not ideal, but I will order more from Jogger's Corner.

If you're a runner, you need to buy these.

I run 17 miles a week and I was sick and tired of getting blisters on my feet. I had purchase a New Balance stick which would help prevent blisters but my feet still felt a bit tender after running. I finally took the plunge and purchased these socks. Without even using the New Balance stick, I was able to go on a 7 mile run and to my amazement, no blisters! My feet didn't feel tender as they did with my Under Armour socks.

Thinking it was a fluke, I used these socks consistently for 2 weeks and haven't gotten any new blisters at all. I'm totally sold on these and purchased two more pairs. These are worth the money, no doubt about it.

These are great socks!! I needed new socks to replace my old wicking socks, which have served me well through the past five years of walking marathons. Actually, they served me well for FOUR of the five marathons, and the fifth one was a toughie--Blister City. My first stop was to my favorite running store and one of the pairs of socks I came home with was a shorter version of these Balegas. I read through a few blogs and came to the conclusion that they were right up there in terms of quality and features--comfortable wear, don't move around when you walk, moisture-wicking, etc. After trying a couple of brands of socks, these really did float to the top. They STAY PUT when I have them on for long walks, regardless of whether I'm wearing my favorite style (these--quarter socks) or the "no show" ankle versions that I also tried. (And that's a big deal for me, since ankle socks almost always migrate south on me when I'm walking. It's REALLY annoying. The Balega ones didn't.) I've also now taken them on several moderate-length walks (6-8miles), and I had ZERO blisters. I didn't even have any hot spots.

In short, if you're looking for a good blister-resistant sock that has good wicking, wears well, and stays put: this is totally your sock.

I am very prone to blisters when I run (even if its only 5 mins of running) and these socks do a good job. I really liked my old blister socks, the brand was Features, which I got at a Road Runner store a couple years ago but I lost one of them and when I was looking to buy a new pair of blister socks, I thought I'd change it up this time. After running in these for a few weeks now, I've decided that I like my old Features socks slightly more and will probably get a pair of those as well. I feel like they just have a little bit more padding. I like these balega socks though and they do a good job so I will continue to wear them.
