These are good, if you use them properly. Don't try to use them like traditional twist-ties and twist upon itself or it will destroy your $6. Instead, just wrap gently around your cords in a circular overlapping fashion and it will hold. Great for keeping my headphones handy and not lost in the bottom of my bag. Also, I keep them handy by hanging on my fridge with magnets (they have metal cores).

This little thingies have so many uses, are very practice. I use it on my back packs, purses, portfolio, jackets, handbags and of course, my key chain. Two of these on my key chain make my keys hang closer to my waist. I hook one on each belt loop and voilà!

I'm a big fan of all Nite Ize products, especially the Gear Ties. I use these Clippable Twist Ties for those frequently used charging cables. I just wrap 'em up and hook 'em to a zipper pull just inside my laptop bag for easy access.

This was an impulse buy. I thought it was a cool product and I knew I'd come up with a use for these little things. I'm using mine to separate my car key from the rest of my keys. I like to travel light, so when I'm not driving, the bulky car key stays on the hook at home. He doesn't seem to get lonely there. I also use the tie to hook onto the outside of my pocket so that I don't have to go fumbling around to find my keys. This is an enormously useful and delightful gizmo.

Sadly, only a few weeks after his deployment, he's done. The inner wire snapped in several places and it's no longer as cool, or useful as I had originally thought. It's a shame.

I love the Nite Ize Gear ties, I have a bunch. I travel for work and have to pack cables and all kinds of wires for devices.

I was intrigued by these because they had the clip. They are are decent but the clip is small, and that is my main complaint. If you want to clip something to say a zipper pull, a key ring or a small loop then these are okay, for anything much larger it cannot fit.

Very handy! Nice s-clip; it is small enough to attach to the hole on the end of a jacket zipper. I have attached the s-biner clip to the zipper on my jacket, sweater and backpack and then I used the twist tie to hold a small nite-ize light or lightweight pen knife. The twist tie needs to be twisted around to prevent the item from falling off. The flexibility is terrific; it has been very useful when backpacking or camping.

First Nite Ize product that didn't hold up to much travel use. Purchased to wrap around my headphones so they could hang from the outside of shoulder bag for easily reach-ability while traveling (specifically by air). Survived the trip without issue, but soon after the very end of the bendable portion "snapped." The exterior is still intact but the open-end (not the end with the clip) feels like a broken twig inside the rubberized coating. None of my other Nite Ize twist ties have snapped like this so it may be an isolated incident. The second clippable twist tie shows no wear and tear but also hasn't been used much by comparison.

These gear ties are the greatest thing ever....

I don't think the specialty ones are for everyone (like this one and the mountable one...etc) but for any person that is in touch with technology/gadgets and wants to be beyond organized (I have OCD) then these things are a miracle maker in a two pack.

*These ones I have hooked up to my backpacking bag to hold items for easy access to them. The normal ones I use mostly for cords around the house, car, work...
