Intro. By no means am I an audiophile, or anything of the sort. My goal in purchasing these was simply to find headphones that sounded great (relative to my experience with ~ $5-10 IEMs) and could be worn for extended periods of time while studying. And as far as I'm concerned, these are just about perfect for my usage.
Pros:
Comfortable. I can wear them for several hours at a time without my ears burning up.
Noise-reducing. Not technically noise-cancelling, but they do block out a fair amount of noise.
Sound. Again, this is all relative, but they sound great to me. It's a clear sound, not artificially bass-y.
Build quality. They look and feel well designed, as if someone put some thought into them.
Cons.
Cable length. Now I know why people praise detachable cables! The cable is a bit long, to the point where I've coiled a foot or so and used a twist tie to shorten it. It does the trick, but a shorter cable would have been preferred.
Last thought. As you probably know if you're reading headphone reviews, there is a spectrum when it comes to the choices available, with a number of different price points to choose from. My opinion is that these are a wonderful compromise of quality and value for the ~ $50 range and that my money has been well spent. Good luck in your quest for the right headphones!
