Just one problem, this product, though excellent, is way over-priced. I just purchased the same sauce from a local market for $1.97 -- do the math. That said, if you enjoy flavorful and slightly hot & spicy, this is pefect. We found it to be quite authentic -- we remember targine almost every day when we toured Morrocco. and yes, meat and vegetables is also the Morroccan style

The directions say to add to two pounds meat, but I add to a stir fry mix of meat and veggies. Yummy. I like hot spices, but I would not say this is hot. Still, I like it.

I'm a big fan of Tagine so this was pretty disappointing for me. It was was way too sweet - cloyingly so. Between the sugar and the overwhelming use of clove, I just couldn't stomach it.
