I pre-ordered this case thinking it would be exactly as the description states: slim but protective. However, upon receiving the case, I noticed some major design flaws.

Loose Fit
The case fits very loosely on the S5, so much so that it easily comes out of the case when I barely pull on the corner. This suggests the phone will fall out of the case if dropped, which ultimately defeats the purpose of the case.

Loose Buttons
The sleep/wake and volume buttons are extremely loose and rattle on the case. I'm sure Belkin made them this way to make them easier to press, but I've found myself accidentally pressing them every time I hold my phone. Plus, the loud rattle they make sounds horrible, like something is loose inside the phone. (I checked, and it's definitely the case, not the phone.)

Bulky
I'm not sure what Belkin was thinking when they said thus was a slim case. It's not at all. In fact, it's about as bulky as the Otterbox defender thickness wise along the bumper. I'm sure this is meant to offer extra protection, but considering the looseness of the case, it's pretty much useless.

Conclusion
I like the bright colors of this case and the fact that it's transparent, so I can see the back of the phone through it. However, that's the only reason I'm giving it two stars instead of one. Otherwise, it's an extremely overpriced, bulky case that doesn't hold the phone securely. For something this bulky, you may as well spend the extra $10 and go with the Otterbox Defender.

Nice case but it will NOT fit S5 with wireless charging. If you have the Samsung wireless charging back dont wast your time with this case!!

This is a very nice choice for anyone that does not use the OEM wireless charging back with their S5. However, as other reviews also point out, with the additional depth of the Qi charging cover, the built-in buttons on this case do NOT line up. Nor does the USB port at the bottom.

I'm sending this back and having a go at the Diztronic case.

The Belkin Outrigger Case for Apple iPhone 5s (Pink/Citrus) is a very bright and cheerful case. It is extremely sturdy and the buttons are super easy to push as opposed to the Belkin Skin Candy.
The feeling of the case is silky and it grips well. At first the Belkin Outrigger felt big and clunky, it took me about a week and a half to begin liking this product. Before this case I had been using the (LUVVITT® CLEARVIEW Scratch-Resistant and Flash Friendly Slim Clear Back Case with Bumper / Cover for iPhone 5 / 5S (LIFETIME WARRANTY | Retail Packaging) - Transparent Pink) which is very sleek and slim, and I still like that case very much. I tend to carry my phone in my back pocket and this case grips better than the Luvvitt. I can also find my phone easier due to the bright color.

I ordered this case in Topaz/Limelight and I would say that it is true to color. I have the white GS5 and it looks beautiful on my phone. Like the previous reviewer stated, the silver rim shows on the front with this case on and it looks great! I don't think that it makes the phone bulky at all. It feels great in the hand and the buttons are easy to press (though not as easy as the first reviewer stated that they are accidentally pressed. He must have large hands). My phone fits snugly in it too and I won't have to worry about it falling out of the case. Overall, I am very pleased with my Belkin case and will definitely purchase another one if this one ever gets dirty or if I just want another color.

My phone took a MASSIVE tumble yesterday out of my hands at a full run, sailed through the air and smacked down from about 3 metres onto concrete. It bounced and skipped a couple of times before I scooped it up from flat on the ground. ZERO damage whatsoever. Barely even a scratch or mark on the case at all.

I wasn't going to trust the investment in my S5 with an off-band case. It's probably a little larger than many cases due to the ridge around the side and bevel of the screen, but I suspect this is where it absorbs all of the shock if it lands screen-side down.

Note: some older/chunkier 3.5mm Aux jacks may be too thick to fit through the case.

If you're looking for a case more robust that a simple sleeve but far less bulky that the OtterBox-style rugged cases, I would highly recommended this one.

i love my new Samsung s5. But I was sad when I bought it because I could not find a case that I wanted. I had a speck grip for my s4 and loved it. So I got a candy shell speck for my s5. It seems to fit well and protect well, but I hated the color choices at Best Buy. So I ordered the Paparazzi Pink and Citrus Belkin case. I put it on today and I am very happy with it. My case fits nice and snug around the phone. I like the front as it allows the silver band on the front of the phone to show. The keys on my case fit perfect and work well, they do not rattle like the other review suggests. I can access my port for charging well, better then in the speck case. The ear bud port is perfect and they work well. This case is slightly bulky, it is slender but allows room to protect the phone if dropped, and I do tend to drop my phone so this is a very good thing for me. I love the lip on the front that will help protect the glass. It is not so big that I can't text easy however so a huge plus. The material is easy to hold onto and should not slip out of my hands at all. I am very pleased with this case and the color is cheerful, fun, bright (should not loose it) and just charming. It is a far better color in person then on the pictures shown here.
