Both pads are nice, but were not received as pictured. The design on the left was fine, not quite as dark as pictured, but the one on the right was completely different.

From the Amazon illustration, I thought half the pads were unlined, which I wanted; however, all six pads were lined. I didn't return them and I will use them, but I would have been happier with six plain white unlined pads with magnetic backing for placing on the kitchen refrigerator. I feel the decorations and lines make for wasted writing space and reduce the versatility of the pages. I prefer a blank or minimally decorated unlined "free-form" pad.

I have a friend who loves these memo pads and I looked every where online for them but very few places had them and the prices were ridiculous, 1 pad was as much as the 6 pads on Amazon. I purchased these pads with the intention of placing a strong magnet to hols it on my refrigerator. Past experience has proven that most of these pads come with very weak magnets and will not stay on the fridge. Not so with these pads. The magnet glued on the back is very strong and will hold onto the refrigerator, even if the door is closed very quickly. Plus, the paper quality is excellent. I am very please with these pads. They are perfect for my "To do" and "Shopping" lists.

Within days of putting one of the note pads on my refrigerator door, the pad fell off leaving the magnet and cardboard pad backing on the refrigerator. This is not properly constructed to work as one expects from a pad with a magnet. Unfortunately, you get six pads with this order so I won't be able to use any of them in the way intended.

The paper is pretty, and the pads are nice enough. But within a few days of placing the pad on the refrigerator (isn't that what the magnet is for?!!) the pad inevitably splits and I wind up with one pretty page on the refrigerator and all the rest on the floor.
