While I always liked peanuts, it wasn't until I chose them as a low carb, low sugar snack that I discovered that no other brand compared to the taste of Planter's. Then they started to get scarce - everyone was discontinuing them, or charging exorbitant prices. I bought them at WalMart until they discontinued them, and then special ordered from my local market until they couldn't get them for me. Then I discovered them at Amazon -- and at a good price, delivered. I am a happy customer!!

These peanuts are dangerously addictive! I have been looking for these forever, since they disappeared from the shelf at the grocery stores. My husband and I polished off all six cans in a month and I'm re-ordering... although I hope we can pace ourselves a little better this time.

We love peanuts so this was an easy 5-star rating to give! These 52 oz cans are huge, lol and were delivered fresh and as described. I just cancelled these on our Subscribe and Save shipments though because for a whole whopping 2 cents per ounce less, haha... We can get another version in clear containers that are easy to grip and nicely reused in our pantry... Ah, the little things! Smile. Buy with confidence. I uploaded a photo. Hope this is helpful!

I was really excited when I received this in the mail. Naturally, I had to check that everything was in there, and everything really was there. As I wrapped my dad's present, I smiled, thinking he's just going to love this, and this will make him really happy. Planters Redskin Spanish peanuts are his favorite type of peanuts, but they are really hard to find. It's been many long years since I could find them in the grocery stores. So just like I found my favorite candy on amazon, I found my dad's favorite peanuts. When it came time to opening his present, he just couldn't believe what I had gotten for him! His whole face lit up, and he immediately opened one and started snacking. While continuously waiting for his approval, he said he's finally gotten that good old taste back into his mouth again! Christmas for us was perfect!

You can count on the consistent flavor and freshness of these cocktail peanuts. They make somewhat healthy snacks and are easy to portion into small containers and have ready as grab and go snacks. I also like to have them on hand for the holidays because it is an easy snack to have handy while you are in the kitchen cooking a holiday meal. I have not run into many guests that don't like Planters peanuts.

I have been eating these since I first tried them on a commercial air line flight at least 20 years ago. I was thrilled that Amazon still sold them, since all the B&M's have stopped selling them. But, unfortunatly, all great things must come to an end. I will not pay $40.00 plus for 6-10oz cans. I made it through the burnt peanut problem, and love Amazon's service, but at these new prices, I will have to just say no. It is a shame that such a great product is not sold by local stores any more and that Planters does not push this product harder.

I tried these on a whim -- I love butter toffee peanuts, but saw these as a slight twist on that theme. I was right -- and these are excellent!

The Sweet 'N Crunchy peanuts are a lighter version of the traditional toffee peanuts: the coating isn't quite as heavy, and it's not as "dark" - it's a lighter color "caramel" coating. Since the coating isn't as heavy, these aren't quite as sweet as their heavier counterparts.

I have to be careful with these and portion out just enough for an end-of-meal treat -- otherwise, I'll eat half a can without even thinking about it!

If you're looking for a nice alternative to toffee peanuts, these would be a good choice.
