On Earth Balance's website (and on the container itself), they say this is a certified non-GMO product. I don't know where that reviewer who claims this product uses GMOs is getting that information from (I even did a google search and came up with nothing).

So, I'm just going to assume Earth Balance is telling the truth on this (unless it can be proven otherwise).

Anyway, like the title says, this peanut butter is delicious. It contains Peanuts, Flaxseed, Peanut Oil, Agave Syrup, Palm Fruit Oil, and Salt. In that order.

Due to the agave, it's tasty, weighing in at 2g of sugar per serving. It's not bland like organic peanut butter, but it doesn't taste too artificial or sugary.

It's just right, and that's why I'm giving it 5/5 stars. I will definitely buy it again.

The 3 stars is partly my fault for not reading the ingredients closer. I see no reason for this to have palm fruit oil and agave. Just wanted peanut butter with a healthful flaxseed boost! This peanut butter is VERY sweet.

I love peanut butter. I will happily eat it right out of the jar, and in great quantities. It is for that latter reason that I love these packets--portion control! My daughter loves that the pb is smooth. I do wish they weren't sweetened, but as packets like this are difficult to find, it's OK.

I bought this peanut butter because it came up as organic in the search and the cost was less than some of the others. It does not however have the USDA stamp on it so isn't all organic. It has enough of the other claims on it though and the ingredients are few. The taste is ok, not real peanuty but it grows on you.

Amazon gets 5 stars for customer service, but I would only give the peanut butter 3 stars. These criteria provided my average of 4 stars for this purchase. One jar (plastic) arrived with a broken lid and was leaking oil (not too badly) in the plastic wrapped packaging which encased all 12 jars. Amazon VERY promptly refunded my cost without question and I was very pleased they did not require a return of the damaged item. The peanut butter was disappointing as it tasted somewhat rancid even though the date is good for almost a year still. It was also oily with a small amount of oil (about 2-3 Tablespoons) settling on top after each use. In the future I will just stick with natural peanut butter which needs stirring anyway and tastes fresher. This will probably work good for cooking or maybe smoothies, I just don't think I'll eat it like I do peanut butter.

I try to buy healthy peanut butter and some times they arent very good. This isnt the case with earth balance its always good, the creamy is one of our favorites.
