I'll admit it, I am a fuss-budget about my sheets. When I started living alone four years ago one of the things I had to restock completely was sheets & pillowcases, so I've been buying 3 or 4 sets a year for my queen-size ever since, all at about the same price point. I have had sheets that were so thin you could see through them (very disconcerting), a pair that glowed fluorescent blue when you move your legs across them (that was rather scary), sheets that pilled (I hate that!) and sheets where only half of the pillow case was hemmed - and all from names you know. I've discarded nearly as many sets of sheets as I've purchased.

These Pinzon Ultrasoft 300 Thread Count Percale Sheet Set, Queen, Spa Blue are none of those things. These are sheets like I haven't been able to find in years! Every single edge is immaculately hemmed. Both the top sheet and the pillowcases (2 included, large enough for Queen pillows) have hems five inches deep - all the way around. The fitted sheet has deep pockets to fit even the thickest mattress.

The sheets are made of percale, so it has a lovely hand - soft & smooth on your skin, but with a hard finish that means it will not pill. They wash beautifully!

Grandma's $0.02 - The most luxurious sheets I've come across in years at this price point. I will be ordering more. Highly recommended

This is a review by a brutish lout who sleeps like a log. I'm as comfortable sleeping on the ground as in a bed. It's hard for me to review things that can't be quantified or measured, things like comfort and softness. Relying strictly on impressions, these sheets are way too nice for me. Sleeping on them was great, especially the pillowcases. I feel like I don't deserve the kind of a "comfort feel" these sheets have nor should I get used to it.

We ran the sheet set through the washer and dryer before we used them(like we do all new sheets). Pulling them out of the dryer was the first time I was able to feel the difference in quality from what we normally use for sheets which is generally what is included in the big bedding sets you may find at places like Target or Kohl's which are about two or three times the price point of these sheets by themselves.

The sheets fit the bed perfectly with the fitted sheet extending well under the mattress which we really like (finally, something measurable!). The rest of the sheet set lays very nicely, crisp and attractive.

I am very happy with these sheets, the best and most comfortable I've ever owned, and I don't see any reason why we would not use them until they are old and worn which quality-wise seems like it could be a very long time from now.

I've read the other reviews and it seems there's a tremendous amount of variance in what people think of these sheets. It confuses me because this is simply a good set of sheets: not high end, but not cheapie either. I found the quality I expected, because I've purchased Pinzon sheets before. Now that these are an Amazon-brand, I see no difference.

First off, they appear to be (as stated) 100% cotton...they wrinkle a bit out of the dryer but cotton does that. They do feel sleek and fold well, and remind me of a good hotel sheet. They are not sheer, and there's enough weight to them that the fold beautifully and lie neatly. They are well made in that they are perfectly even on the corners when you fold (many good brands are still off a few inches at times). I like that I could "snap" them when I folded them, they had just enough heft for that.

Simple embroidery on the flat sheet pillowcases and top trim, and all-around elastic on the fitted sheet (not just at the corners). I switch these out with another set of sheets with a paisley print by another manufacturer, and with my eyes closed I can easily tell because these feel freshly made even when they aren't...a few days into the week and they still feel crisp and neat, but soft.

I washed the sheets before using as instructed on the package, and with the sizing removed they are limp and have a rather rough finish, more like muslin than percale. I was looking for real percale sheets: soft cotton, smooth, crisp and cool (remember Wamsutta Supercale?). These sheets have none of these qualities. I would not recommend them.

These sheets did not live up to the 'Ultrasoft' description. I always wash new sheets before putting them on the mattress and these shrank and lost all their smoothness and softness. They were very irregularly cut and didn't fit the mattress properly. They seemed to be cut in a trapezoid shape, making them wide enough at one end and very short at the opposite end. I was very disappointed by the overall quality of the sheets.

I really love these sheets. They are the crisp type not the really soft type. They are Egyptian cotton. They have deep pockets which I need because I have a foam topper. It is also elasticized all the way around, which keeps them tucked under better.

This is real quality. The stitches at the seams are very small which is a good sign of quality. They are actually on the same par as the Ralph Lauren ones I got for 150.00.

I got the blue ones and am going to order another color. I bet these will be going fast.
