Oh how easy to use. I was a little concerned about being able to cut a straight line with a craft knife, but the edges are easy to fit up to and then your cut is straight every time. Makes precise mats each and every time.

These tools are easy to use and help w/any card-making project. I like that they are shorter than the original "layers" but long enough for card making. The numbers are small but dark and easily read. Right now they are my 'go to" tool for cutting cards and matting projects.

I love this tool. When you lay your paper out and choose the size you want, move it up against your paper and then cut, it is the perfect size every time. I never have to guess if I got it perfect on all four sides just by eyeballing it. It is much faster than trying to guess by using just a ruler or whatever. This size has all the sizes of paper that I would use especially for my albums and etc. You will not know how you ever did without it once you buy and use it. Perfect tool for all paper crafters.

I am not going to really helpful with this, as I had really hoped that this tool would help me put the layers down on the base card evenly. Instead, this is for making layers themselves not for lining them up. I won't use this at all because I it requires a craft knife to cut the layers.
All I wanted was a tool or something to help me put layers evenly on top of the base cards.
I am sure this is a great tool for someone who is deft with craft knives and only want layers, then this will be the tool for you. But, if you are like me and want a something for card spacing, then keep looking.

Great tool for creating photo mats or anything that requires enlarging by fractional sizing. It has notches in the ruler to catch on the paper your creating a mat for at the appropriate fractional size allowing you to cut with a craft knife.

I've used both of the tools numerous times since receiving them. They work great, with one drawback that I just deal with. Sometimes the layer of paper that I need to "catch" the lip of the tool on is not thick enough to do so. I just eye it up with the edge of the paper and it works fine. I'd recommend these tools and would buy them again.
