Listen to me. If you ever come across Snyder's Hot Buffalo Wing Pretzel Pieces, do not, I repeat, DO NOT BUY THEM. I have never done drugs and I don't plan on it but this has gotta be worse than cocaine or meth. It starts as slight urge when you wake up. Little by little, the urge increases. What starts as "I think I'll have one or two pretzel pieces" turns into "I think my colon is bleeding buffalo powder." And don't even think that you'll be satisfied if you eat more. Oh no. It is a never-ending cycle of pretzel bites. Don't be like me, a convicted buffalo pretzel junkie. I wish I could go back in time and smack myself in the grocery store the first time I bought them. But here I am, with my third bag of the week. I am a very sad man.

Snack items should not be so damn tasty.

These have the same honey mustard powder as the Nibblers, but they are literally drenched in it. With the Nibblers, you are just hoping for a little more honey mustard on the next pretzel. These go above and beyond that, constantly assaulting your mouth with delicious honey mustard-y flavor.

I was starting to think that Snyder and I just didn't share the same idea about what's good in snack flavors. I have tried several of their other pretzel pieces flavors (Buffalo Wing and Honey Mustard) and was very disappointed. I have to say, that these Cheddar Cheese flavor pieces are not just good, but spectacularly good! They have a very rich, buttery cheese flavor with pleasant yeasty aftertaste. These are totally addictive. It's very easy to munch through the entire large bag in one setting.

I don't like pretzels. So shoot me, but I just don't. But even since my wife picked up a couple of bags of Snyder's of Hanover Honey Mustard & Onion Pretzel Pieces, I've been cuckoo for cocoa puffs so to speak. I had a terrible case of the munchies while we were watching some TV movie, and my wife said she felt like something crunchy (to which I replied that she's always been soft and sweet as cream - which is why we've been married 50 years), and she brought out a bag of Pretzel Pieces. They were gone in no time flat. Twelve ounces just doesn't go as far as it used to. We actually polished off two bags.

These are not sweet; they're not salty; you can't actually pick out a particular taste. They're delicious and satisfy that want for something other than potato chips. It ALMOST makes you feel like you're eating something nutritious. Well, I don't know who at Snyder's said, "Let's bag the different size leftovers and chunks," but he should either be shot or given a healthy bonus!

We continue to buy them one bag at a time, but I just put in my order for the Pack of 12. In more ways than one, I can't afford to have more than that. They wouldn't last a week especially during baseball season!

These are definitely a sin! Absolutely delicious, as my expanding waistline demonstrates. My daughter shares my love of these delicious and highly addictive treats. In addition to just knoshing on these tasty tidbits, I found that crushing them up and using them as bread crumbs adds a real treat to a meal. I broke the tidbits up in a plastic bag with my tenderizing mallet. As it happened, that day I was having a bad day and the prep phase of dinner became great therapy. I pounded the daylights out of pretzels rather than the object of my ire. So not only good eating, but a great mental health asset.
If you want a quick and easy recipe:
Chicken breasts or tenderloins or turkey tenderloins; honey mustard and crushed Hanover pretzel pieces. Slather the meat with the honey mustard to coat and then bread with the crushed pretzel pieces. Cook in a preheated oven (350 degrees) for 30 - 45 minutes, depending on size of the meat. I haven't tried it on pork, but that is next.

I am currently deployed to Southern Afghanistan. The Honey Mustard & Onion pretzels are my favorite snack at home but they are always either sold out or in limited quantities at the grocery store (because they are so gosh darn good!). So, for a little taste of home I ordered these and had them shipped to my APO address. They arrived in exactly one week, which is record breaking, as some of you may know, for an APO address. I love these and have had to fight off my commrades because I was dumb enough to let them have a taste! I even have to lock them in my desk so they won't steal them! I saw one review where a guy was complaining because they are hard. They are hard pretzels so make sure your chompers are in and firmly attached before enjoying...sorry, dude! Snyder's, you've got a real winner with these! I have been enjoying them for years. Don't you dare ever discontinue them! ;-)
