The wood grain pattern looks fantastic which was my only concern, as this will be used for a costume where realism is key; the foam is sturdy but cannot be considered dangerous if someone is accidentally struck with it and the size is realistic and manageable. This product is well worth the money you pay for it.

It looks great! I used this for a cosplay of Ness from Earthbound and everyone seriously thought this was a real wood bat. lightweight and won't actually hurt someone if you SMAAAASH them! I haven't actually tried doing any real baseball with it so I can't attest to that. But if you want to look cool then totally get this.
