Initially, I thought it worked fine and the design was cute. But then after a little over a month of regular use, the stitching started to come apart near the handle. It's not like I put very heavy items in the lunch bag and my 9 yr old daughter is not rough with her things like my 5 yr old son would be. Thinking it should last longer than 1.5 mos .....

Like Jennifer DiCicco wrote on 9/11/14, I have purchased these PackIt lunch bags in the past and they were more robust then. I love the zipper as now it doesn't require the velcro to stay closed (which it didn't), but now the zipper came apart on one in about 1 week of use (1st grader) and the seams came apart on the other after 3 weeks of use (preschooler). Amazon was really cool about sending replacements, but you want to look for something more robust. My kids don't abuse these at all, and I uploaded 2 pics showing the defects.

I already own a mini lunch bag from Packit. I was so impressed with mini PackIt that i went ahead and bought the regular size too.

The regular size is big enough to carry lot of items. I was able to put milk bottle,sandwiches,snack and a small water bottle inside easily. Its very useful when we are out for whole day. I try to carry as much as possible atleast for Kiddos.
I have added comparison pics for regular and mini bags side by side. It will give you idea which size would be suitable for your needs.
The bag itself folds into a compact size. Its very easy to store it in freezer when not in use.
The food is fresh for longer time without getting all spoiled an mushy.
I definitely recommend buying it.
