Wide fit is too narrow for wide feet

My daughter has wide feet (even though sometimes she fits in medium fit shoes). So I ordered 5W for her...we couldn't put these shoes on at all, they were so narrow! so I returned them. Dissapointed, because I really wanted to buy shoes other than Stride Rite (wide fit, which fit us perfectly) and really liked the style.

Perfect Fit!

I love these cute shoes. I've been having problems finding WIDE shoes for my "puffy" footed daughter who is growing so fast. I thought these were going to be too small since we went to Stride Rite and they measured my daughter's feet at 5W. When these arrived the next day I was expecting them not to fit, but to my relief they are a perfect fit! They look so cute with jeans, they fit with socks on and they velcro well around my daughter's "puffy" wide foot. Loves!

I love Merrell shoes, for comfort and support! I am also a firm believer in little ones needing good shoes for their growing feet. My son has not worn these shoes for longer than 2 days, YET! But, he loves the way they feel on his feet! They are great construction and materials and I imagine they will hold up beyond his next growth spurt, at which point I will gift them to my friends' little boy. Between my son and hers, these shoes will see many miles and adventures, and that makes me a happy mommy! Fit is spot on and I love the way the whole front opens for quick and easy put-on.

If your toddler likes to tread heavy outdoors, get these shoes! They have superb traction and a rugged exterior. They go on so easily. They stay on too, as long as you have the correct fit. They are good for cooler temps. The little ones might get sweaty feet in warmer seasons in these, so be careful with extended wear and use.

The grandparents told us to look for shoes that would provide more support to our growing daughter - 15 months now - compared to the incredibly cute though completely flat baby 'shoes'. I bought her a set of little snow boots that are great, but they are too heavy to do more than play around in the snow for 5 minutes. These are really great.

On the measuring, I like the following description:
[...]1 (Though my baby could never stand still so long, so we would make it a game and drew around the feet, did that a few times and let her color them in. We would measure 3 of them and take the average and then add 0.6 cm for space in the toe area.

Really love these shoes. Well made and easy to put on. I do think they run a bit small though. I wish they wouldve had a sz 7 for sale instead of a 6.5! My daughter normally wears a 6 so I was surprised by how well they fit, and I was hoping for abit more longevity! Otherwise we love them!

Love the jungle mocs!

These are great shoes for kids. My son and daughters have had jungle mocs in every size from just beginning to walk until school aged. They are really durable, the kids say they are comfortable, and they look nice. They also make them in colors that are good for school uniforms. They wear like sneakers in many ways because they have good soles and grip and are stay on securely. The velcro on the toddler sizes holds up really well and securely fastens the shoe.

Nice dress-up shoe for boys
