Well made cable. However, if you're like me and are looking for a replacement cable for a pair of JVC HA-FX850's you should probably keep looking as the connectors don't seat solidly into the headphones due to there being a tab bit too much rubber on the tips. I plan on trimming the rubber ring down to see if this alleviates the problem, but you should probably keep shopping if you have FX850's.

Just a replacement cable. What I like about this stranded cable is that the wires do not get tangled as much as the rubberized one from Westone (the one with the mic). I'd rather pass on the mic function to avoid always untangling it

Had UM2 and cable went out after about 1.8 years of daily use as personal monitors for a gigging musician as well as listening for enjoyment or for song analysis. Westone replaced my UM2 with brand new UMpro20 as the former had been discontinued. This new model uses the EPIC cable and is detachable and replaceable for a fraction of a cost of what replacing the entire set of IEMs would cost. Actual buds are sturdy and will hold up for a very long time - Great to know that I can replace the cable if it goes, but after an additional 2 years of regular use (I got custom molded 6 driver in ears now, and these are my backup and for-enjoyment headphones now), they are still going strong and cable is showing no signs of going out any time soon. The over-the-ear hook holds its shape well but is flexible enough to stay comfortable. Love that they have a bit of swivel for a comfortable fit, and for ability to move my head without catching the cable as much. Great cable for a great set of in ear monitors

One of the best mid-fi IEM cables out there but the clear version tends to oxidize easily and turn yucky green. Would recommend the black instead (which I am currently using).
