The tulle itself is good and strong, with a nice color, as I expected. I did have an issue with the bolt. It turned out that the tulle I got was actually in two pieces, rather than one long piece. As luck would have it, fortunately, where it ended was going to be almost exactly the point where I intended to cut it, so I was ok. But if my measurements had been different, or if I wanted one long piece, then I would have been extremely disappointed. Only luck saved me. I'm hoping this was just an accident, and that they don't typically piecemeal the roll together.

My daughter and a few of her friends purchased this tulle to make tutus for wearing over leggings at basketball games--they are not cheerleaders, just really getting into the school spirit! Our local fabric chain wanted over $1/yd and did not have maroon; the desired school color. I ordered this one-day from Amazon with Prime. We used a dremel with a metal disc cutting blade and cut through the entire bolt of fabric every 9 inches. This gave us 6 "mini-bolts" that were each 40 yards long. Next, we used the dremel again to cut the bolt from top to bottom. This gave us a bunch of "strips" of tulle that were about 22 inches X 9 inches. The girls each hot-glued a loop of 1/2 inch elastic to fit their waist size (this became the waistband of the tutu). They tied strips of tulle to the elastic using knots. These were super easy and quick to make. I had ordered 2 bolts of tulle--we cut them both the same way. They used one full bolt plus just over half of the second bolt to make six very full/puffy tutus. They loved them!
