Excellent season and it definitely bumps up and was the beginning of what would be 8 more seasons of him exploring the culinary aspects around the world. This on top of this was the season he held the contest to see who would win to show them their country's cuisine, which he ended up showcasing even the second, third and fourth place winners places of preference. Always something to see with this series if you're a food interested in culture at the same time. Recommended.

All of these places are definitely worth checking out (especially Sweatman's in Holly Hill). South Carolina isn't much of a destination in my opinion, but if you have to be there anyway, you might as well get something out of it. All in all, the food is by far the best thing. And Charleston is probably the best place to spend most of your time.

Anthony Bourdain.... really. He is amazing, even if he has British teeth. It just makes him more endearing.
