A quality accessory w/ (at least for me) an additional benefit...acted for my system as an LP clamp does. I surprisingly gained not only 45 play capability but a noticeable clarity in sound when left on for 331/3 play. Wasn't expected at all for a 2-3oz piece of aluminum! (Caveat: Naturally, any system improvement depends on sum of components.)

Great little adapter that beats the heck out of the junk plastic ones that are typically (if included at all) with turntables these days. It's heavy enough to stay in place and machined well and fits perfectly. Taking off 1 star because of the price- which honestly is pretty steep for a piece of aluminum. Still would buy it again though, if you need a solution to 45's this is it!

This is a very sturdy adaptor. Quite attractive and impressive. Just had a little trouble fitting some of my 45s over it, but otherwise a great investment; it is the most expensive adaptor I've ever purchased, but I shouldn't have the need to buy another. this one is well made.

I needed a 45 adapter for my old Panasonic record/tape player. It still works great and I have a large record collection.
