Very odd that other reviewers say that the seat does not come with a hook—ours did. The hook was sealed right in the middle of the packaging. Maybe these people got returned merchandise, or merchandise from a seller other than Amazon? (Kind of gross if so, lol).

This seems durable and well made. My 4-year-old is not too thrilled to use the "big toilet", but she is comfortable while sitting on this. We've had to work on using a small potty first, so this hasn't been getting much use. My older kid did not use this type of seat until age 6, though.

Overall, it's good for the price, and ours came as advertised.

It does fit on an elongated seat but all the way at the back. This creates two issues. 1) there is an uncovered gap in between the front of the potty seat and the actual toilet seat. This can lead to a little bit of a mess if the child is not seated properly. 2) Trying to get a small child to easily sit on the very back of the toilet is not easy. They require assistance or a higher stool in get positioned correctly. I do not think these would be issues on a standard toilet seat.

Positives:

Handles are a plus
Soft seat
The graphics on the seat are cute

Cons:
The seat slides around on the toilet way too much (although my 23 mo old didn't care).
Scratches up the actual toilet seat because it moves around.
